You can always try it out, just that a few weeks after Blizzard will fix it (just like what happened with the daily quest fishing poles)
 
I'm not going to try it out, I work most saturdays when the derbys are up.

If I was going to try it I wouldn't post it here cause I'd want to be the only one lol!
 
This has actually been discussed plenty of times before, but it's always been considered prohibitively difficult to do. Nobody has tried grinding it because its either too long for even the most hardcore grinders or because Blizz would almost certainly insta nerf it like they did for the other fishing poles.

As soon as any level 19 gets this weapon or gets close to it, it will be removed or nerfed rofl that's why no one does that... do you seriously think that Blizzard intended this fishing pole to be used in a low level pvp bracket?
 
I actually doubt they would nerf it if only one player had it, at least not instantly.



Goblin surveyor wasn't intended to be used in low level bg's either, but yet...

Not instantly but still a few weeks of one shotting doesnt worth 2 years of work

Edit: Surveyor needed a nerf but at the same time it wasnt game breaking, just annoying.

Blizzard doesn't intend a lot of things for low level characters yet we somehow fins a way. On a side note when I first got this on my 80 Hunter I went into AB and beat the crap out of an Alliance toon with it just because of how funny it was to kill someone with a fishing pole. BTW this cannot be used for xmog, tried last night lol.

Sorry but last I checked, my Goblin Surveyor didn't go around 1 shotting every person I right clicked on, making me invincible. But you know, whatever, same thing right?
 
I will find a way. Just to say I did it.

This. You could get a level 40ish axe from Darkmoon cards that were introduced in a patch and put savagery on it. It was fixed within hours.
