Im wondering if 70 armor is better than 5 resist because preists get a 60% armor buff from inner fire?

My 10 Priest has full GF'd gear and even with Inner Fire my armor value is at or slightly more than Leather wearers (in full GF'd gear) with the 70 Armor chant on, so imho go 5 Resist all. 70 Armor equates to about 2% reduction in physical damage done. 5 Resists equates to 9.09% damage reduction from all spells + the chance to out right resist them. Get a second cloak if you want with Fire or Nature resist if the opposition is heavy mages or druids.



EDIT: I checked and Inner Fire does NOT stack with enchanted armor values like the 70 > Cloak. Also the difference (at level 10) between 70 Armor and not is ~3% not 2% but that's still only to physical damage. So it's still imho better to take 5 resist all over 70 Armor at least for PvP.

A good cloak for extras is Rathorian's Cape. It has the highest non-quest/non-BOA armor value and 2 stam + it's pretty common on the AH as it drops from a Barrens rare that well, isn't exactly rare.

I'm pretty sure you're correct You are correct, when I get off tonight I will double check my numbers and edit my above post for better accuracy but yeah, 70 Armor isn't doing much on any class.

Fair enough but it doesn't change the advice given on which chant to use only an easy BOE cloak to get several of for diff chants to have in ur bags at all times based on the BG comp.
