Yeah I hear going all Tonya Harding in Little League is all the rage now. Oh wait. The whole basis of games is that they are a social activity people play for fun and interaction, and in fact it is more like professional sports to not to give a damn about the opposing team than to do so in recreational sports/games (though of course such antigonistic behaviour leads to hooliganism and other crap). Social activities/interaction requires social behaviour, and while I am the first to acknowledge the fact that plenty of crappiness goes on in the XP-On/BoA Battlegrounds, more and more I am starting to become convinced that all the talk of a 'Twink community' etc. and the adherence to what others would call normal social behaviour and mores during WotLK (in short: don't be an asshole) wasn't so much because people acted out of conviction but because they acted out of convenience: being limited to one's Battlegroup meant that queues were fragile, now that queues are region-wide any and all mores are flushed down the toilet. In short: I've come to expect too many players acting like a-holes in XP-On, I am very disappointed this has become the norm in XP-Off as well. Perhaps the saddest part is that people are suprised that Blizzard doesn't take Twinks seriously when Twinks don't even take the siplest of social mores serious anymore. BTW: I won't explain why this tactic is wrong even from an amoral point of view, anybody who has ever seen troglodytes trying to pull this off knows why. Let's just say that if a bunch of Quest-geared 10-14's can consistently beat a bunch of Heirloomers (trying to) utilise this mindless mob behaviour, I mean, well thought -out tactic, it sure isn't going to work with any regularity in a much more evenly geared bracket. The less said about resorting to premades in a PUG environment because of a lack of basic social skills, the better.

Some times you have to play to win. Using your toolset, people that have joined up, and the mechanics that are " Working as intended ". There is no chivalry in AB and honestly , playing as horde, if I can get a win using Cotus's strategy you better believe I will be all over that like tits on a hog.

Haha I gotta admit this worked on a team i was playing with last night, granted they had like 5 geared 24's, so they only needed to post 2 at 2 bases and they Defended the other two while a hunter and i held down gm, they had 4 bases and held a farm on our starting point that even after we got out of the farm, and started playing like a team, we still lost because we were too far behind, couldn't help but think Cotus was playing on one of those horde toons, but there was like only 1 from AP and I'm pretty sure it wasnt cotus based on how bad he was geared... Haha

Monday on Horde, a few good games were people communicate and actually defend bases (and as a result, win) including most importantly Farm. Always nice to see how well just three people can defend a base long enough against superior numbers if they work together.

The few games against 'ze Germans' were interesting, too, as whatever you can say about them, they know how to play resource/node games (we we're trashed of course, as 'ze Germans' don't mind sitting on a base with others).

Plus of course the (sadly) usual games of little to no commuication, no flag-watching and no defending except when too late. Of course, it's the same with ('English') Alliance, but because of reasons already talked to death, Alliance (and teams with a lot of 24's) can basically get away with it.

Still, got even more ahead of my schedule on Arena Trinkets (7 on day five) so a fairly good day.

Fun games, enjoyed Thunderstorming alot of people off of LM, got "we had it all along cough", nabbed 'loom shoulders, was in the AB with naked Livevulcano running around which Horde lost IIRC so full bragging rights to you allies.

Didnt see as many 24s running around which was nice to get even, competitive games. Looking forward to getting back into the gulch.

Ya buddy, honorable conduct went out the window in this bracket awhile ago.

And of course instead of getting it back we should bar the window and nail it shut, right?

But you won't spoil my mood, I am still too much on a buzz for seeing 'ze Germans' play a perfect AB, I love it when a plan comes together.

Hahaha... I respecced this weekend just do the same once. It felt really f'n good.

Then no horde would attack LM the rest of the game so I got bored and went back to enhance after a few games.

I know I know... good story brah.

Anyways - looking forward to WSG weekend to have fun chew bubblegum and get looms.

That would be a cool video - too bad you didn't catch it.
