Updated F2P Guide?

Anyone know of an updated F2P lvl 20 Guide. Most of the info I found online seems pre-level level squish and is out of date.

Currently I am farming WOD dungeons for iLevel 87 gear and levelling Shadowland enchanting for gear enchants. Wanted to see if I am on the right path.

Iirc only BFA enchanting works on gear above ilvl 50. So get ring and weapon enchant from there.

Farm Shadowlands Jewelcrafting tho for the speed gem if that interests you, else you can also go with 2 main stat / 2ndary stat gems from other xpacks.

Other than that, keep farming 87s, and maybe get bigger bags through tailoring.

Thank you for your reply,

Do only WOD dungeons proc to 87s or can I use other expansions? Also if BFA enchanting works on gear above ilvl 50 would Shadowloands also not work on gear > ilvl 50 since its a later expansion?

All Dungeon Epics, so dungeon quests work and vanilla dungeons have a few epics.

I think SL enchants have a req lvl, might havw changed since prepatch tho so not 100% sure

1-Basically, for armor, draenor content until you get all the epic pieces.
2-bfa enchantments for weapon (except if you are dk)
3-If epics come out with slots, honor gems with the quartermaster in Stor/Ogrim (SL have a requirement of level 48 to raise the profession: 7)
4-(Optional) TBC armor pieces.
5-(Optional) If you want enchantments on weapons, you can get the artifact weapon, upload enchantment of the expansion that serves you the most, apply it on the weapon and put artifact relics on it to level it to ilvl 54 on weapon.

Not anymore, you can now learn and level up SL professions at low level

being f2p?, the last time I checked I couldn't, I asked for lvl: 48. I will check to confirm, this information is worth millions hahaha

Edit: You can learn but not disenchant items to raise and obtain materials, at least not being F2P

A new F2P guide would be great, how often do guides like that come around?
When people feel like writing them

The big problem is that a F2P at this stage would more-or-less be a "how to play world of warcraft" guide with a subsection explaining that "hey, you cant trade. gonna have to gather and craft things you want from various professions" and then maybe like a "your garrison/class halls cant progress as much as you'd like" section.

So someone would need to go to a lot of work to basically explain how the game works in full because... thats F2P these days.

And people still wouldnt read it

I think there would be a lot more to it than that. The old Twink guides are very detailed, and there were even YouTube Chanels devoted to it.
[doublepost=1676875053,1676873161][/doublepost]I guess what I have gathered so far from my own experience and the helpful posts from above (thank you)

WoD Dungeon Boss Drops can Proc to Epic ilvl 87 (run this over and over again)
Some of these WoD gear can Proc a socket but its very rare (I think)
Some Dungeon Quests drop Gear can also proc to ilvl 87 but not the gear within these dungeons (I believe)
BFA Enchanting is the way to go as previous expansion Enchanting will not work on gear above iLvl 60.
Shadowlands Enchanting seems not to allow Disenchanting at lvl 20 which makes it impossible to level and use.
PVP Random BGs are OK you are not going to be stomping on lvl 29s but can accomplish middle of the pack damage and kills.
You can buy +1 Jewels in Honorhold (Right Zircon, Delicate Tourmaline etc)

Things I am still not sure about:

- Stat priority, is it the same as lvl 70? (I am guessing not?)
- Best Gathering Profession
- Can Fishing be useful?
- Updated list of Achievements you can complete (should be much larger with time walking)

Feel free to reply with anything I may have missed or got wrong.

there you go! Write this up as its own thread and you've got a guide

It's not always the same as 70

Best Gathering Profession

You gonna need Mining to get gems
Herbalism to level up Alchemy

- Can Fishing be useful?

Only for achieves

Updated list of Achievements you can complete (should be much larger with time walking)

You can get like 1500 different achieves, it also depends on if you get boosted or not, and knows certain exploits. No one is gonna bother writing that up, just look up my shaman that is linked in signature and ignore all the high level raid / dungeon achieves

Don't forget the https://www.wowhead.com/item=11726/savage-gladiator-chain?bonus=42&ilvl=87 !

The ShL disenchant bug is quite annoying, considering blizzards refers to an ancient blue post claiming it had been fixed and apparently having no intention to admit it's still broken.

There is another problem with BFA enchanting.
To advance you need umbra shards - and i have no clue where to get bfa epics to de (for F2P/Vet in frozen phase).
Maybe i'm missing something?
