If wow ever became f2p

What happened it the past is irrelevant currently. I see what is happening at the momment. Brackets that don't have levelers are non-existent. When was the last time an xpoff lvl 19 twink or a 39 twink got bg pop? Not for an year or so.
Dude literally talked about it before you came in here to spew misinformed nonsense. Why would 19s still exist? All the old characters got squished, its now a mounted bracket, which ruins the main niché for 19s. There is no place for 19s to exist on live, so they dont. And there was a thread about US 39s doing wargames like a week ago.

Move where? Or maybe the right question is how?
For example, the bracket moved in SLands with the squish from level 10 to level 20 and all characters had to be releveled. You probably didnt play the game back then and dont remember. But ye if wow raised the f2p cap to 30, the 20 bracket would simply move to 30.

The bracket itself will die. The population will move (if they feel like starting a new and playing in a different bracket). And the whole point of the thread is what would happen if wow goes f2p not just raise the f2p level cap.

It will die and it will create a new one. Brackets, find a way...
I mean it has happend before, multiple times, but youre new so you wouldnt know.

the thread may have been created for that but that wasnt what you said. You said if it was raised, not removed. But we can talk about this other different thing you didnt mention instead.

WoW has like 0 reasons to abandon the easy cow that is the sub model. Its hard to make new games with a sub model and easy to make a new f2p game with lootboxes.

Wow subs are to finance guys what serpent sting is to your damage, reliable padding.

Raise as in "to bring to an end; remove". This means removing them altogether thus removing the ability to play xpon BGs as a twink.

Always the insults first, arguments after... Communication 10/10, good job

Ahh you're a hopeless case. Any intention of normal conversation on this forum goes down the drain :Sadge:

I dont know if youve spent too long in the furry echo chamber or whatever? But heres a hint if its example #16 its probably not the right word. If you ask someone to sap would you expect them to use the spell sap or go in a tunnel under the base?

Back then there was hit chance and it mattered significantly. You can say you didnt but it was not a joy to solo queue.

edit- in the US anyway... like I said, you can remember it however you choose. ;)

Don't think it will become F2P, but close. I think it will be thrown into the X-Box Game Pass.

Edit: And yeah. If starter lvl cap is raised, I'm guessing to 30, then that would be fantastic. Two expansions worth of raids and little to no more reliance on shitty RNG upgrades for quest rewards since raid loot will just be that much better.

I thought a lvl 25 cap would also be cool, but nearly pointless. Some loot is good for that level, but most of Vanilla gear is dated besides some BoEs.

I just don't see there being a starter cap raise any time soon. Lvl 20 still provides a fuck ton of content and gearing selection. Maybe a few xpacs from now when they have to lvl squish again.

I’d love to see restrictions lifted not for level/content, but i think it would be awesome to able to chat/invite/join guilds/etc. It would make sense from their perspective as well, if you are able to socialize and make friends while f2p, i think that gives more reasons to subscribe later.

Restrictions are in place to stop gold sellers, not to stop f2ps from talking and I doubt theyd drop them.

i’m aware, and i also doubt it. but i think it would be okay to not let trials talk in channels and maybe not let them yell, but it would be cool if i could simply /say something to anyone…

Just hang around low lvls in durotar and you can say stuff.
