EU+US Resto Shaman: Int vs. Vers

Any healer with half the IQ of today's date notices the difference between 1.4 and 1.2.

Stacking crit on a healer that heals as strongly as restoration Shaman is dare I say retarded.

you aren't going to get to 1.2 seconds casts without severely sacrificing intellect so it is really 1.3 to a 1.4 which is not even slightly noticeable.

What pieces would you sacrifice that would severely sacrifice intellect? I'm trying to think of pieces other than like BWB but that's unrealistic for most new Shamans.

The Slither-Scale set comes with a bulk amount of haste, the only pieces you'd have aurora in would be weapons, wrists, shoulder, cloak, and rings.

Shoulders would be swords deck, which offer base amount of int. If you want to get real anal you glitch the int haste enchant on these.
Wrists would be BG crate, which offer base amount of int and every shaman should use these.
Cape of the Brotherhood is just bis.
Weapons would be from BG crate, which offer base amounts of int.
Ring would be from BG crate, I wouldn't sacrifice Lorekeeper's for a dungeon bag ring.

Where are you losing this int???

post a screenshot of you having 1.2 second heals in a bg I have a hard time believing you can get higher than a 1.3 second cast without sacrificing intellect. crit = haste

the guy asked about int and vers balance nerds. You think he cares about .1 sec cast lol

stop arguing

Op, vers and int give the same purpose. But int is more powerful. Around 2-2.5 vers=1int. You should want to stack both with int being the priority for pure heal/dps numbers.

The haste argument is so dumb. Pro shaman here I don’t worry about my haste at all, other than for my haste set which is specifically a 100+ haste set for hitting 1.2. You lose like 30% power on your spells doing this

you guys are arguing and probably don’t regularly bg ever as resto shaman about .1sec of casting just cause you don’t like each other

I don't dislike nor like a lot of people on here but it really does not make a difference whether you choose haste or crit lol.

1.2 breakpoint is like 22% somewhere, so yea not going to happen without pure haste rings/neck, hence the sacrifice of int.
I notice the difference between 1.3 and 1.4, it's worth it if possible on rshaman. Might not be though as fang set locks in a lot of slots.

Speaking my opinion I can not even notice any change between 1.4 to 1.3 seconds flash of light casts on my holy paladin. That 10th of a second is not going to save anyone that was not going down anyways.

My opinion, int is king followed by vers, and you won't really get enough haste or crit for those stats to really even matter, but haste is effective, and crit is just fun.

that absolutely does save people tho lol.

plus your cool downs are reduced on hpal. i hope ur not playing crit on ur hpal neon xdd

light I hope you are trolling here thinking that a 10th of a second is going to save anyone that was not going to die anyways and the little 0.5-1 second you get on your cooldowns does not matter at all

point being it makes no difference whether you stack haste or crit your choice do what you want to do

yea haste and crit are basically player preference once u stack int and verse, i dont mind crit just for when i dps and trying to kill someone with some smite crits, but if i have a choice between a piece of gear with 5vers/2haste or 5vers/2crit id probably take the haste as a straight healer.

over time the little amount of time saved will add up and save people sometimes

none of use know the exact math of it but it is for sure less than 0.5 seconds idk why I even thought it would be that high

if ur spamming heals at 1.3 sec, over 13 sec that's 10 casts, at 1.4 ur only gonna get 9 casts in 13 sec, might need the tenth to save someone

if it doesn't matter why are you riding so hard against haste?

because people are acting like its the end of the world if you lose 0.1 seconds on your healing surge when it really doesn't change anything at all

In twink vs twink games the lower cast time can absolutely save lives, if not totally win mid fights. When was the last time you actively played in this bracket? Specifically as a healer? Only thing in your sig is a feral Druid. Give me some healer names of yours I'll recognize.

I'll see what I can do when I get home.
