Xfer to Bfa=>Legion possible?

Hello !

Someone know if it's STILL possible to transfert a character from bfa account to a Legion account?
And if i fusionned a new account with my bfa account, it's gonna be a Bfa account or Legion?

Thanks !

you can have a legion capped at 110 and upraded to bfa versions on the same battle net account. i think its required to transfer but im not sure if its still possible. you understand once on legion the azerite stuff becomes unusable right?
So tell me if I'm wrong: I can geared a character on a bfa account and then xfer him on my other Legion account but, i cant use azerite gear and hoa ? Or only the effect gonna be unusable?

correct. your az gear will be greyed out with “requires bfa” or something like that in red text. cant equip it or put it in void storage.

Yo, I can share my own experience. I recently(<1month) transferred my shadow priest from a BFA to Legion account within the same Bnet email, what happens is that you can no longer eqiup your HOA and because of that you are then unable to equip your azerite gear as it requires HOA to be equipped for the abilities to work as well. Regarding professions, you keep those and can still do whatever you were able to do on your BFA account, the only difference is that you wont have access to the trainers anymore afaik, as well as some supplies that are sold by BFA vendors only apparently but thats an easy fix as you can just log your other account and mail them over or buy them from the AH and that's about the only downside I've experienced regarding professions. Also you will obviously have to pay 2 subscriptions, 1 for the BFA account and another for the Legion one. I also recommend farming out any gear such as trinkets etc that you wont have access to anymore on the Legion account once you transfer.

trunksy-5k on use nature damage and its fricken hilarious to watch luggage fall on someones head
mercys psalter-on use vers buff alliance only. even if you loot it as alliance then faction swap it goes away but in its place you get 2 other trinkets. one crit one haste i think
bfa pvp trinkets-twice a day you can find the airdrop box for a chance at gear. if you’re lucky it can have a socket or leech etc.

if its a quest reward it can upgrade to epic and ive been thinking of starting those quests first to see if it does upgrade and if not reroll and try again.

You can get it a lot more than twice a day. Once per day from the faction assault Secret Supply Chest, and then as many times as you can loot the War Supply Chests (the ones dropping from planes). If you have 2 accounts, which people in this thread should have, it's very easy to farm. I did it like this on Horde side until I got my 2 socketed trinkets:

1. Have your twink's hearth set to Zuldazar.
2. Park your twink in either Voldun or Nazmir, preferably on the intersection of the plane flight paths - there are 2 paths per zone.
3. Park a char from the other account in Zuldazar, again on the intersection of the plane flight paths.
4. Crank game volume up, alt-tab and do whatever you want.
5. When you hear the plane sound, check which zone it's in. If in the twink zone - loot, then switch to the other non-Zuldazar zone. If in Zuldazar - hearth the twink and loot it, then back to either Voldun or Nazmir.
6. Rinse and repeat. Since the planes come about once/hour, and you're covering 2/3 zones, you can get way more than 2 drops per day. The only thing you don't get multiples of is the large chunk of azerite from the chest - that's about 200-300 and is once/day.

It helps if you know beforehand where the chests can drop. Wowhead can help until you memorise them.

Unless you want a specific trinket from the drop it would me much more efficient to just run a dungeons they drip the same 210 items and you can target specific loot much more efficiently.

Most classes do want those trinkets though, since you can't find versa + mainstat combos in the dungeon loot (I think there's a Str + on-use versa one somewhere, but nothing for Agi/Int). Let's face it, high ilvl neck gives you a big chunk of crit/haste/mastery, but no versa - it's the secondary stat that you're most likely to have the least of. Not to mention it's the best secondary for many classes to begin with.

It would be a different story if Antorus trinkets were worth anything in pvp - but they're not.

Thx for all the replies.

So to build a 110 twink in BFA:
- farm/run bfa dungeon to collect 210 gear
- farm chest in Nazjatar
- farm BFA professions

Some points:
- Doing the BFA storylines is worthless (since you can't use Azerite gear)
- the main source for gearing up is farming mythic antorus since you can have 245 level pieces (obliously BIS after the nerf of azerite pieces).

Anything else ?

Regarding trinkets, I wouldn't put much effort into farming the dungeon ones at least since you are most likely migrating for pvp they will be nerfed by 75% in bgs meaning they are useless. But the pvp chest from invasion/air drop is definitely worth farming for the trinkets that it gives as they are BIS compared to what you have available in legion, at least 2 of them are, on use versa and on use primary stat. I'm not sure what you mean by chest in Nazjatar, i'm going to assume you mean these pvp chests unless there is another chest there I am unaware of.
Lastly if you are alliance, someone mentioned earlier about a trinket called mercy's psalter that is from the Drustvar quest chain, that one is 100% worth getting as it is highest on use versa trinket available, although I am unsure if it is nerfed in instanced pvp like bgs, someone from ally will need to confirm that but either way you should definitely go for it as it's easy to get and useful even outside of bgs.
