literally the RNG for these crates to drop a reward box is just as tough as getting the damn trinket to drop! completed 20 quest and not one box was rewarded. SMH. If anyone get these trinkets on your first 4 boxes please go to your local gas station and get a lotto ticket! LOL

I'm not sure that it's really possible to "determine" something that subjective... it really comes down to how your personal preferences or time-constraints are impacted by the quantity/quality/celerity/sanity of various quest-zones.

For whatever it's worth, here's some opinions from the Party Sync thread:

I've been blasting through Loch Modan and Westfall on my toons pretty quickly. Westfall because I like the cut scenes to get a drink/snack. But they do kinda slow you down. That said, westfall also had alot of low effort "go talk to this person" quests that can award crates.

Loch Modan is really easily clustered "go here, kill this, collect these" quests. Tons of them.

I do westfall darkshore and redridge everyday because they're literally right there when you're in goldshire

I've been doing like 5+quest zones every day so I dont rly have to think about what's most efficient, but I start with those three because I find them easiest. If I feel lazy that day I'll stop after those 3. That being said, like legit almost every single quest has the chance to give crates, so whatever zone you play in you'll be getting good shots at gear.

Personally I like westfall the best, theres some RP events that you can bio break for or whatever, but theres also a good amount of quests that are pick up and hand in immediately for a shot at a crate. (Theres like at least 3 or 4 instant crate quests iirc)

I may have initially misread that. It took me 25 zones to get the trinket, not the chest. However, 25 quest zones for one carving is still fucking bullshit.

I hear ya. I haven’t done 25 zones yet, but I still haven’t got one Carving. Got 3 of the other Trinkets though

I feel before they stopped the sync for those few days, the drop rate was better.

I've been farming xmogs across alot of my F2P toons and can confirm that you are just unlucky. As with most things, RNG gonna RNG.

I'm deleting trinkets in mass on a priest, still haven't gotten one on a warlock. So it goes.
