this is so that I don't have to type this a million times to the ppl that don't use xpoff (seriously come every patch day I have like 10+ different ppl ask me about new shit that we've already known about for like a month I don't have time to type the same thing out 15 times I wanna farm this stuff too.)

total copy and paste here but sin'dor did a better job than I could have so ya
Party Sync is a new feature that makes it easier than ever for friends to party up and quest together.

When players activate Party Sync, everyone in the party becomes aligned to the same quest state and phase. By mousing over a quest in your tracker, you can see who’s on a given quest, what their progress is, and who’s ready to turn it in.

You’ll also have access to a “replay quest” feature that allows players who have already completed certain quests to replay those quests with their friends for rewards that are appropriate to their current level, regardless of the original level of the quest. Quests can be replayed for rewards once a day.

some extra notes:
  • quests can be replayed for rewards once a day, they are on a 24 hour timer not the regular 10am PST timer that other dailies have
  • the quests are abandoned as soon as you drop party sync
  • the quest chest is NOT 100% DROP RATE
  • you do not need to be in the same zone for it to work. (my druids in ratchet and i'm in duskwood)
  • you do not get original quest rewards if you have already done the quest
  • the only good piece out of these is the trinkets
  • transmogs are the same as allied race gear, if you don't have allied races this is how you can get the tmog. We can now get the helm and shoulders to complete the allied race sets. Allied race weapon reskins drop from these crates aswell which are unique.
  • if you dont have a 2nd account I hope you have friends
  • The cloth helms are a new way for pure f2p clothies to get a helm. these may be bis, because getting a cloth helm can sometimes be a pain in the ass.
Here is the compendium of all the pieces that we can get a level 20 written by @Sin'dor

now I gotta farm my own crates too start using xpoff pls

If you're making this for "the normies", then you might want to add the official summary from the Update Notes:

  • I've heard hearsay that the crates respawn once a day, not sure if this is true or not but if so you wont have to reroll a million toons

  • you do not get original quest rewards
...at the risk of stating the obvious: if you happen to do a "never completed before" quest while party-syncing, you will get the original reward.

(You might also want to add some "space" after each caption, so it's more-obvious which image they're referring to.) ;)

Only rated funny because of the normie statement the rest is wonderful feedback I'm not being a condescending asshole thanks :)

Has anyone had any rare or epic upgrades come from the crate yet?
Gonna go out on a real long limb here and tell you it wont happen.
I cross-referenced all the known rewards with Blizzard's database, and didn't find any rare/epic "Upgrades" listed as being possible... so that's as definitive as we can get unless something eventually proves it to be inaccurate. ;)

Are you suggesting it's even possible that XP-Off could contain any condescending assholes!?!

fwiw, repeated quests do not count toward total quests or daily quest achievements.
that was the most disappointing part about this patch tbh.
To be fair, that was never really a possibility... both "Total Quests" and "Replay Quests" work by scanning all of the original QuestIDs and seeing which ones are flagged as "completed". The only way to increase your "total" is with new QuestIDs (from completely new quests).

can you use party sync to skip long quest chains and farm epic quest reroll?

lead clears to the quest, then fresh toons join group and maybe can get the quest? and lead never picks it up just afks

The "syncing" brings everyone down to the "lowest common denominator", so to speak... so no skipping, only re-visiting.

Well, I think they only slightly might upgrade.

All items share the same classe name (like Sábio da Montanha, in portuguese). When I looked in Wowhead I found dozens of different versions of the same items, some rare or not.

And some upgraded versions where given previously, like in WoD's junkyard or the Teldrassil's burning World Quests (I even have a shoulder Sábio da Montanha mog that has a blue text and a 110 require lvl, implying It was received at a higher lvl).

I believe it is important to see if only max-levels using PartySync get upgraded drops (since at least to them it would be pointless to only gain green items).

Anyone have any thoughts on the best quest zone for alliance 20? Short, clustered quests. Durotar is already sick for horde tbh...

I don’t have time to do a ton of quests each day (because I wanna queue too xD) so I’d like a good route of sorts to maybe go for 1/2 item a day. Especially since I want to grab these vers trinks on 2 toons

I've been sort of thinking about this too. I don't have any real data BUT

I've been blasting through Loch Modan and Westfall on my toons pretty quickly. Westfall because I like the cut scenes to get a drink/snack. But they do kinda slow you down. That said, westfall also had alot of low effort "go talk to this person" quests that can award crates.

Loch Modan is really easily clustered "go here, kill this, collect these" quests. Tons of them.

I do westfall darkshore and redridge everyday because they're literally right there when you're in goldshire

I've been doing like 5+quest zones every day so I dont rly have to think about what's most efficient, but I start with those three because I find them easiest. If I feel lazy that day I'll stop after those 3. That being said, like legit almost every single quest has the chance to give crates, so whatever zone you play in you'll be getting good shots at gear.

Personally I like westfall the best, theres some RP events that you can bio break for or whatever, but theres also a good amount of quests that are pick up and hand in immediately for a shot at a crate. (Theres like at least 3 or 4 instant crate quests iirc)
