How do I get the BOA AGM?

Since realms are merged, even when I have tried to loot the chest at 3 AM a few days in a row there's still a few other 120's that show up. Can't even do the whole ''Do it on a dead realm'' Thing anymore since that isn't a thing. It's one of the items I really need on my rogue for his setup.

I can't even manage to get the chest ONCE, let alone all the rest of the times it'll need to be looted.

Hey mate,
I did it a month ago. Yay!
This is how:
- I went to a german rp Server called Mithril Orden (it is merged with only one other rp Server and both are empty af)
Leveled a char to 20 cuz i was on no gametime
- Warmode on
- went to the arena and looted every 3 hours.Sometimes there was a Little competition but most of the time i was alone in there. Two Times i checked ~30mins After spawn and still got chest.
Repeat 12x
- Subbed and leveled to 30
- click one of the 12 trikets for quest
- loot one more time
Done!

Although the major tips have already been mentioned I’d like to add that obtaining all the pit fighter/arena master trinkets in order to get the BoAs is easily done on a higher level toon (DMF requires 85+ to complete the quest).

If you’ve already managed to get 2-3 trinkets it would be faster to start over from scratch on a higher level character.

This process takes time due to it being dependant on other players, phasing to “low” or “medium” role-playing realms seems to have given me the best result so far while chest-hunting.

If you’re really hardcore or doesn’t have any friends, having multiple accounts certainly help since you’re able to phase your main character while also interrupting the enemy chest cast from the phasing toon in case your main character dies.

However if you don’t have a higher level
toon available I’d recommend very late evenings &/or early mornings. May the odds be ever in your favour!

A Vinna mentioned above, it is alot easier with a higher level toon and if possible bringing a couple of friends helps aswell.
I personally used two accounts and phased to a "low" populated realm, i got the required amount of trinkets within 4 days.

I made a class trial and boosted it, it's a gnome rogue named ''Agmlooter'' XD
[doublepost=1547240497,1547237675][/doublepost]So......I did all this and it say's 3 pm realm time...yet there isn't a chest spawning....wtf?

They changed when it spawns a while ago. I haven't done AGM in years, so I'm not 100% sure, but I think its based on California time or something instead of realm time? If you don't care that much, check every hour for 3 hours and you'll know which cycle its on.

For anyone wondering, I found a comment on WoWhead that should probably be more upvoted than it is. It pointed out that blizzard used to not update the servers respawn time on the chest whenever the hours changed, such as like they do during daylight savings time. I kind of noticed this last night when it was 3 am local time for me, but was 2 am server time and I saw it spawn, even with merged servers. The comment said that it was usually fixed the following tuesday, but seeing as how the game has went full mainstream with activision and has lost millions of subscribers I guess blizzard does not get around to updating the little stuff as much as they used to.

So current respawn at the moment is every 3 hours, but it's at 2, 5, 8, 11, etc. Instead of the usual hours. The server still keeps a 3 hour timer on chest, even if the server time changes.
[doublepost=1547247810,1547244205][/doublepost]The trick appears to work, rolling on a RP server and using warmode. Got my first one at 5pm server time, no one there.

Don't know why you boosted a trial tho. 30 minute fresh DK is free.

edit- maybe 45 minutes... takes a bit longer now, I guess.

Hi,

Using the following method I got both Defending Champion and Returning Champion in a 5-day period.

The basic method is to camp the chest on multiple servers on an alternate account, and server hop your main when an easy chest spawns.

First, get another account. A trial account works. You should also have the ability to run two instances of WOW at the same time, one for each account.

You'll make level one toons on multiple servers on the second account. They'll be easy to run to the Darkmoon arena. Use a high level character to run them out to the Gurubashi Arena, preferably one that can res. Horde is also recommended because it's a much shorter run.

Defending Champion is more difficult to acquire. Servers from the same region are merged at the Gurubashi Arena, so you have to compete with players from other servers in your region for the chest. The key is to create toons on servers in a region that's lower population. I had the best luck with Latin America.

For Returning Champion, there's no "rule of thumb" for the best servers. I ended up getting the most chests from a low-medium population server. This is likely because the competition will gravitate towards the lowest population servers.

The 3 AM and 6 AM (PST) chest spawns are easiest to get.

Log in around 10 minutes before the chest spawns. Using the second account, log into toons one at a time until you log in and don't see anyone else camping. Invite your main and hop them over to that server. Next, log out your level 1 toon (but keep your main in the group so they stay on that server!) and continue to look for another chest that isn't being camped. You do this for two reasons: First, if competition for the chest shows up where your main is at, you can quickly switch them over. Second, if you get the first chest, you may be able to quickly swap over and get a second chest.

If competition shows up, just leave and try a different server/region, unless you want to fight. However, you'll get the trinkets much faster by avoiding fights. Even if you think you can win, you can often get two chests in one spawn if you avoid fights, something you can't do if you're involved in a battle. Also - don't stealth! Your presence will often drive others away. If you stealth, you're making it more likely that others will camp.

I got the defending champion by making a trial account gnome rogue, and I just no lifed the chest for a few days and set my alarm. I used a RP server that was only merged with one other server.

As for the darkmoon one, thanks for the tips. I'ma try to get it eventually.
