70-79 Level 70 PvE BiS Gear Compendium

I optimized most of the classes by myself and cleared all raids with minimal group sizes. There's nothing to try to improve upon so I'm done with lvl70. End-game is too much of a timesink for me. I wouldn't want them to change it, the way it currently is makes it a true RPG, but it's not for me anymore.

Gl to all you eu players. Was great to see all the knowledge you guys had to share etc. I feel like there is more to the game then goals though, community is the strongest and most important part of any twink bracket and I dare say with all of you we lost some of the strongest members. This game has turned for the worst I'm afraid, every day pushing people farther and farther away with blizzards lack of personalization. The more blizzard try's to make this game lack skill, the less incentive twinks and end game alike will have, with any of this like I said, best of luck!

there are 2 things id like you to look at before you dissappear into the nether then.

your ww monk list (i posted about this on the bottom of page 4)

also hard khorium battlefists fit into most/ all dps plate specs

and hard khorium band for assassination? not outlaw?

edit: i learned quite a bit from you guys. thanks.

edit 2: band of the eternal (the agil one) vs stormrage

just like forged power/omni is better for most/all casters, is the hyjal ring REALLY better than the signet? both in simcraft and on a dummy my results are saying it isnt, but then again i still havent figured out how fx is simming 5k on a shadow priest even when i copy and paste your setup and "clean it up"ect.

wait a sec, a priest had a higher opener than a frostmage?
That was just a maxlevel character who was there to help clearing to supremus fast so we could do our testing. FYI I've since optimized my frost mage build a little and can now hit even higher peak dps numbers.

I designed the assassination build but not the outlaw build. The reason assassination uses hard khorium is because it brings it exactly to ilvl 164.00. The outlaw build is likely not optimized fully since we have (had) no active outlaw rogues.

i see

@Zoke and @Onlydreams http://www.wowhead.com/item=34247/apolyon-the-soul-render : http://www.wowhead.com/item=34183/shivering-felspine - Assuming that a survival hunter is wearing these weapons with both socketed with delicate crimson spinels. Apolyon: 35 stam, 30 agil, 16 crit, 12 haste, 164 ilvl --- Felspine: 38 stam, 32 agil (+2 ap socket bonus), 22 haste, 154 ilvl. Both weapons have 3.60 weapon speed now. Apolyon has 44.66 damage per second. Felspine has 44.43 damage per second. Trade off - Felspine to Apolyon: 3 stam, 2 agil, (+2 ap), and 10 haste for 10 ilvl (154 < 164), 16 crit, and 0.23 damage per second. Now, I'm no master at this, but you guys tell me what you think is better for PvE.

as i said, apolyon is still the best, because if you use my hunter's build, youll be at ilvl 164.00 and apolyon still has a total agil of 30 vs 32(+2ap) plus better secondaries AND a better damage range.

Ok, thanks @Zoke . I figured that was the case, I just wanted a reassurance. Now, for Thori'dal for marks, that would be bis because the weapon speeds were normalized and it does more damage per second and has higher ilvl than golden bow, right?

Yes. The only thing golden now had over thoridal, was its weapon damage, dps, and weapon speed. Now that thorodal is also 3.0 weapon speed all of its stats were increased, making it better than golden bow for more than just Ilvl now
