Why do you play this level over this?

Why play 101? I know about the history of 20s/60/70s because of tradition but I never knew the back story on 101. I have multiple 100s from wod, willing to make one of them 101.

Its great for Farming, everything dies really fast. and yea its fun to go into dungeons and just destroy stuff..you can make about 40-60k gold in a ew hours with 101's of course depend on your server.

Played that comp with a mate for shits n giggles, nobody had that mindset besides you whiney 19s. Haven't touched those toons since months back, quit getting butt hurt -.\

101s are cool for world ganking, great for pve, decent for bgs due to ilvl advantage, and not-so great at killing geared 110s due to "miss miss" and our relatively low health. It gets old quick, and I might even level a couple of my 101s someday. Just not my hunter due to legendary ring. But I'll wait out the expansion to see if any artifact power opportunities arise, and better relic slots

101s for farming, messing around, occasional pvp. I've spent 100k~ on my 101 and made around 700k~ from him. If you want to world PvP go to helheim though. You rarely see 110s in there, only people leveling.

99s for instanced pvp if you just want to troll around and be OP. Most of the people passing through the bracket don't even have their artifact, and a decent chunk of twinks don't want to grind out higher levels of AP so long term there will be a huge disparity.

I think the longer the expansion goes on though the stronger active/dedicated 101s will be in iPvP. Most passive gains to AP then 99s make it easier to keep chipping away. All of this is predicated on blizzard not nerfing NL randomly at some point though.

I don't really twink the bracket myself, but I have a few friends that do. It seems that the trend is more focused on world pvp and pve than it is on instanced pvp. So the reason behind 101 is the same reason as making a 10. Your stats are through the roof, and you gain a significant edge in world pvp. Of course when you do instanced pvp, all this scaling is out of play.
