Lord of the Black Flame
So I have this Minecraft server all set up, but not that many people on it. Its not a super-fast computer, so there is lag, but I can keep it up almost 24/7 and I am willing to let a few people on the server. Again, this is not running on a box, this is on a family owned computer that is about 7-8 years old. It's really only used to check emails and Facebook, so I made a new account on it and opened up a simple Minecraft server. Below I will lay out some guidelines that MUST. BE. FOLLOWED.
Brief Summary:
The unnamed server will be the base of a town where the people on it can hunt creepers, craft weapons, cook food, grind materials, and build buildings. This is NOT an art server. No giant 8-bit Mario's or spelling out LOL. Anyone caught doing this or found doing this will be banned from the server and a new person will take there place. That being said, everyone can make a house and make other structures (watch towers, elevators, farms, casino, etc. JUST NOT GIANT ART/WORDS!)
Players will eventually be given jobs. Right now, we are still building and getting situated and we are kind of just borrowing each others mats and what not, but I would like to get a currency system in place and have it so people will have tasks they need to do daily so they can meet the demands of the townsfolk. There will also be exploration expeditions where we can all group up and brave the depths of the earth or venture out on the sea looking for new lands to colonize.
If the server expands enough, I will be putting this on a box and opening the server to more people (the original group will most likely become mods for the server). If this does happen I will be sure to set up more things for players to do, (PvP, PvE, monster fighting events, etc.) but still have it focused on the 'Hey, this is an RP server, I have a home and I am a Blacksmith.' aspect of Minecraft.
If you are interested please post below AND send me a PM. I will only select a few people, this isn't 'first-come-first-served', if I think you will listen to me, help make this server awesome, and not grief I will most likely let you on the server.
