I stopped bout 75% of cata hunters on my fury warrior.

Good players will be good layers, and bad players will be bad players. I honestly don't see what people's problems are with prot warriors. Yes I play one, i also play several other classes, primarily my enh shaman atm (which is nearly the worst spec in the bracket) and prot warriors aren't a real threat.

I now consider the conversation settled, as you seem to not be able to muster a solid, fact based, and non rude rebuttal.

The point of the "8 feet of text" is to establish one thing, that you cannot separate the ability from the class. While shield slam may be out of wack, you cannot take it out of the context of the class that wields it.

Coming from a Prot warrior perspective, its personally quite hard to beat most classes 1v1. The only times I am able to is if I have a healer. With that said people need to stop flaming about prots. It is obvious live seven said, that it needs to be nerfed. but in the same respect, All healers atm are impossiblt to kill F2F

Maybe, first you need to learn better about f2p priests, before posting smth that you know nothing about?
99 percent of f2p priests are disc. So it is basically, no 6 sec cd on bubble when cast on others.Holy and shadow priests have a 6 sec cd on bubbles
And bubble doesn't crit for f2p priests, only for 24s due to the devine aegis talent.
Kinda shows who really is incompetent and rude in this thread

/sigh, just not even worth my time reading these anymore... BUT PLEASE KEEP FLAMING! Laid out a perfectly reasonable argument, you can nit pick little details, which is why for some of them I said "enlighten me", as in I dont play every single class all of the time, but I am making assumptions on what I know; but the fact remains that shield slam is not overpowered because it is attached to warriors.... which if you would have read the post (clearly 99% of you didnt) you would know.

This is why I have a disclaimer.
 
So what I gather is that you're saying that warriors are not op but Shield slam is simply broken ? If you're saying that than I would have to agree.

Over the past couple of days, I have seen prot warriors literally one-shot players with 1.4k+ hp and i find it hard to believe that one ability which can literally one shot people can be considered balanced.

You are a decent warrior oldspike as I have played with you in multiple bgs. and I agree with you that prot warriors aren't op but when I've seen prots literally oneshot players, regardless of class, theres no defending that. Prots were always viable, even in cata, then were great fcs, as they always had good defensive capabilities. I just feel as though personally, having over 62% res and being near one-shot by a non 24 is just a bit crazy.

Just my small observation.
