Oh shit, I didn't knowhttp://www.twinkinfo.com/forums/f20/your-top-3-favorite-artists-all-time-54585/ i made this thread a while a go but oh well
Ellie Goulding. <3
For sure man these lazy bums have a single favorite band. These close minded people have to learn to favoritize all kinds of music. I personally have over four thousand favorite artists, 800 from each of the past 5 decades (+ a few classical and old skool jazz artists). Every song from every one of these artists evokes the same magnitude of emotion. I have listened to about 5 million songs in my life but only 300000 brought some kind of emotional depth... Perhaps I need to open my mind more!If you could only name a couple either 1: you're lazy and have more to tell us or 2: you need to open you mind up towards more music
Totally agree. I would say expand your list, you seem to be stuck in the 70s/90s. Expand to current genres as well as classical and the 60s, and you will have a much better music experience and at least 1000 favorite artists. I can tell you're young because you don't have too many artists yet but I know when you're 25 like me you will have a ton of favorites! Not being elitist here or anything, but yea if you say you have like 3 or 4 favorites, then you're missing out

I am old enough. Do the math yourself.I agree with the sentiment in your post. There is a ton of great music/artists that span the decades and it is definitely worth the time and effort to listen to as much as you are able to.
But I would have to assume your numbers are more than a little embellished. 5 million songs? Ha! Dude, you are not old enough to listen to that many even if you had music going 24/7 from the time of your birth. Do the math before you pick such a monstrous number.
