I still get a kick out of the memory of following things in WoW even a year or more after having done them.
- Noob bugs me because I'm a warlock to summon him to Booty Bay. I can't I tell him, I'm in Nethersorm about to run an instance. Don't be a ***BEEP*** says the noob. Just summon me to Booty Bay. But I can't I say, I'm not in Booty Bay. Noob says but warlocks can port anyone anywhere just use your map.
So three of us get on our flying mounts and go up to a floating spinning purple rock. Invite noob to group. Summon noob to floating spinning purple rock. Kick noob from party and /wave /dance /laugh /cry at him then leave on our flying mounts.
- While killing things at Crossroads (On my 49 rogue for fun.) the usual gang of server Crossroad defenders show up. Undergeared, underskilled and just bad sports. Of course they turn my 49 rogue inside out and do all kinds of emotes at me.
I'm on vent with a friend of mine who's main is a NELF huntard. Though he's a very good PVP huntard especially in world PVP. I tell him what's going on how the usual gang of world PVP'ers is raping my 49 twnk when I just went out to have some fun.
He comes to the Barrens and shadowmelds telling me exactly where he is. I lock up the last remaining defender emoting me with rogue type moves and hit sprint to where I know my buddy is. Sure enough the guy follows me trying to kill me when.... he's jumped and raped by a current arena season geared hunter and his ravager. As he's being raped I /dance /laugh /point at him.
I continue to /sit repeatedly on his corpse repeatedly until he can take no more. He rezzes at half everything and NELF huntard comes out of shadowmeld and rapes him again. This continued for a half hour.
- While very bored late at night a group of us liked to go camp the towers in Hellfire. Yes we'd kill the helpless 58's and other non-maxed characters in order to get 70's to show up to kill them to.
3-4 70's show up in a fairly even fight, none of us have healers. We win, they lose. Of course being the corpse camping bastards we are this continues for a bit.
Guy rezzes, immediately mounts up and starts flying away. My NELF huntard buddy gets an AIM shot crit at what had to be max range from the top of the wall and he dies immediately. Corpse is floating mid air above the ground, not the wall. This is before they changed the floating corpse glitch/feature.
We keep waiting for him to rez mid air and fall to his death immediately. I start getting messages from a level 1. "YOU F'IN RETARD! I CAN'T EVEN GET MY BODY BACK! YOU GUYS ARE SUCH CHEAP BASTARDS!"
On vent we can't stop laughing and take multiple screen shots of helpless floating blood elf something or another. I wish I still had them.
- Halaa PVP. Nothing brings out the sadistic side of players than a PVP area with really high cliffs. During a Halaa defense the most annoying world PVP player on our server is on the attacking side (I swear he would have exalted with Tarren Mill/Southshore or Astraanar rep.).
Every player in the raid knows this guy even though very few of us know one another. Amazingly we have two priests in our group. My friend and I both state we will offer 50g for each mind control death off the cliffs for this player. 100g combined every time he takes the spill.
Sure enough he's tossed off the cliffs 5-6 times by the dueling mind control priests (Yes this is before the fall damage nerf.). None of us in the raid can stop laughing. It becomes so funny that both priests refuse to take our money because they haven't laughed so much in all their WoW playing time and thank us for the assistance/challenge.
- After said mind control abuse the targeted player unflags and starts emoting me while I'm still flagged. I strip down out of my armor, weapon and gloves. Yet I'm still flagged and now semi-armed. He winds up a soulfire to try and one shot me half naked.
Soulfire hits me taking about 1/2 my remaining health. My buddy floating above him immediately dismounts his griffon and we WTFPW3D target. Remember kids.... always look up in flying areas to make sure you're going to be fighting fair.
Okay those are a few of my favorite WoW practical jokes and PVP stories.
