No, sadly.

The Heroes of the Horde quests are also unobtainable, so I couldn't get the belt.
This is going to be grandfathered very quickly though.

No and you actually have to be very careful when you do it because you could actually end up setting all your factions At War permanently (even the API functions don't let you reverse it because the Faction gets deregistered and unflagged for toggling).

After you chose a faction as a panda, your hearth is set outside stormwind/orgrimmar.

To be honest not much. There's a certain method to obtain some noteworthy gear that I am still testing myself, with little results, but I'm getting closer.
