I've actually had really good luck.
These are the results for my 3 lvl 19 twinks:

Warrior: 7 upgraded pieces including two 34 pieces.
Priest: 8 upgraded pieces including two 34 pieces and one was a wand.
Monk: 8 upgraded pieces including a 34 staff.

All I need are 3 more 29 armor pieces and hopefully a weapon or 2 for my Warrior.
I'm not all about that ilvl 34 shit though, they are to rare.

Im stacking 38 again. I will make a video and upload. Hoping for atleast one TF. And I dont care about bag space right now. The gear will be sent to me in mailbox. So its still win-win. Nothing lost

It is quite possible the invasion could last after the actual expansion drops. I am hoping that is when the 60 minute reset times will happen.
This is pure speculation on my part as I have not seen any official dates on when the Invasion Events will be ending. I believe everyone is just presuming they are ending on the same date of the official release.

Well the preview for the actual expansion DID include invasions for some odd reason.
