Yetimus the Yeti Lord

Imirak

Legend
This is probably old news to the vets here, but me and a lvl 20 f2p druid friend duo'd down this level 25 elite. Because fo the frequent knockbacks, this was a non-trivial fight that took some deft positioning and reactions.

Unfortunately, he is the objectve of a 3-person group quest that requires a minimum level 21 to pick up. Which is too bad, because the blue mace reward would be BiS.

Anyway, it was a fun fight for two level 20 druids

We wiped many times on our 5's against this guy gj killing him

(was just bad coordination really and the knockbacked **** healing)

Nice grats! I've been meaning to try to 2 man this guy on my lvl 10 w/ a healer. Looks like fun!

I one-manned the Elite 25 wind dragon in Hillsbrad, but to be fair, I used pots, bandages, and AGM.

Actually, we expected Yetimus to be a straightforward fight for two 20s (bear and resto). But the knockbacks really put a dent in our plans because we would often get knocked out of range of each other.

After some attempts against the hillside with varying degrees of success, we settled on the cave entrance and dealing with any non-elite adds that respawned. Neither of us have the AGM yet, although she did use one pot at the end when he was almost down and she wanted to top off to be safe.

Did this with a random group looking to finish the quest, cheetah form came in pretty handy. Those knockbacks are nasty o.0

idk he hits like a truck and been 5 lv above us there is going to be a lot of missing so it is hard to heal and deal dmg to it.

Yeah, I read later on wowhead about some druid strat where he trivialized the fight by simply alternating roots & wrath until he was dead. I have killed plenty of elites that way in the past but there's no way a 20 could use that strat reliably against a 25.

He's pretty easy to beat if u fight him in the small yeti cave that he passes by.

I got him down to 1312 HP on my own by bursting, but his phased ass keeps resetting. =\ It is pretty fun just tanking him to see how long you last.

iam in purse.

idk how people manage to solo yetimus he hits like a truck even without fall dmg it is a constant heal battle and there is too much missing going on. With multiple trials yetimus is simple. (heck just two trials are required)

edit:and by simple i mean barely.
also why stop on yetimus have some trials do gnomerang or scarlet or other elites. That would be our raids.
