Yet another 39 Lock :)

affliction is an amazing spec. while you wont kill rogues there are some awesome things that distinguish good locks from bad locks. there are a couple macros that you should always be using that can really help you play better.

a curse of exhaustion macro. this is basically like a rogue sap macro that will target and immediately sap a rogue in stealth once you see them. this also works as a regular curse of exhaustion.

#showtooltip Curse of Exhaustion

/console targetNearestDistance 15.000000

/targetenemy [noharm][dead]

/console targetNearestDistance 41.000000

/cast [harm,nodead] Curse of Exhaustion

/dismount [target=target,exists]

a mana efficient drain life

will only cast another drain life if you are done channeling it. just spam the button while you are channeling it so another starts right up after you channel the preivous one if you have nothing else to do.

/cast [nochanneling: Drain Life] Drain Life

this macro is probably the most important macro a lock will use. it devours magic on yourself and if you hold shift + the button for this macro it will devour magic on your target. use this in combo with the devour magic glyph to heal yourself for 300+ every 8 seconds which can be game breaking.

#showtooltip Devour Magic

/cast [modifier:shift, pet:Felhunter] Devour Magic; [pet:Felhunter, target=player] Devour Magic

ret pallies also can be easy to kill. theyll almost always open with hoj, and immediately after that spell lock then and devour the hoj, fear them right away and then you can control the fight. sucks that rogues should always be able to kill a warlock, at least good rogues.

hope this will help ya some :)
