Idk why blizz always fixes things in ways that could potentially fuck over other brackets. This is beyond annoying. They could have just as easily made a restriction on an xp off and xp on in group for islands, but no. Let’s potentially fuck with other brackets as well

F2P don't actually have the buff that applies the aura. so they would still work unless blizzard finds a way to fuck them up too.

If that was the goal, they'd remove XP off elimination entirely and just let everyone twist in the wind.

My thought at this point is why haven't they? They support the idea of people using xpoff for PvE content and that's about as far as it goes... Any other use of it is satire to them so with that being said I don't think we are far from them that.

What you can do now is that when boosting someone, you just pull a pack of mobs, leave group, and kill them, and then reinvite. pretty simple workaround. Basically the idea is that you kill the mobs out of group so you only have to kick / leave when they are about to die. You have like 1 minute to reinvite before game kicks you out for not being in a group.

I was thinking about this today. The best way to boost is the method stated above. Even UmrenTV has many videos on how to do it. By rounding up a dungeon, dropping an ox status and leaving group, which allows the rest of the party to DPS the mobs down and get 100% of the XP. So this 'Blizz fix' really won't fix anything.

This "Fix" was more a direct statement towards twinks in my opinion and the people doing it.
I'm not exactly sure how they didn't think of other work arounds for this leaving me to believe it's just the start of "Byebye twinks"
Just my opinion though, who really knows at this point.

the leaving group only really works at lower levels though, a level 120 Onyx statue, wouldnt survive very long against 30+ level 120 elites? or am i missing something?
