Same. It keeps trying to start the broadcast but nothing happens. I went over to the X-Fire forums and found this post by an admin:



"Dyyno made a DNS change to migrate servers and they were overly optimistic about the DNS address record propagation time. Broadcasting services should start working over the next 24 hours."



As for the performance question, I haven't had any problems (as of yet). But streaming can be pretty burdensome on your computer so if it slows you down, you can try lowering the quality, etc.
 
I've dropped some frames. Normally I run at 60 FPS but i'll drop to 40 and sometimes less in heavy detail situations.
