I've been trying to avoid doing this but it seems like it's the only way that we might be able to move the site forward in the foreseeable future. We have a lot of things planned that will revolutionize the way that people use Twinkinfo, blogs and articles, leaderboards, a stream sidebar, achievements and icons, more profile customization, a wiki and separate media section, an event calendar, easier navigation, a better homepage, a better group/guild system, bug fixes and more.

Some have suggested that we have people in the community organize events and activities at certain milestones to provide an incentive for donations. If you'd like to help organize something or if you have any ideas on what we can do to incentivize donations let me know.

Anyone that donates at least $5 will receive a unique icon and a unique profile border once these features have been implemented on the new site.

Have you taken consideration on Livingforce's idea on removing the donor limit? I figured it would be a neat idea so that the more generous donations could account for more than basic site payments, etc.

I put 10 in.

Just think, maybe all those people that would "pay" to see a certain other person banned could pony up all that money right NOW. That would go a long long way I bet. Or were those just empty threats?

I don't like xeno but I also didn't like vbulletin when we swapped over... I'm looking forward to the welcomed change and novelty!

I got 5 on it for my account and Scuzbagerooni's too!

Why would it bee an empty threat if someone wanted to pay for a ban but dont want to donate for the website now?

I got 5,000$ saying Myrm won't ban you and Mocha. Or just sell me the website. Simple solutions everywhere.
 
Don't confuse my offers to have the idiots banned with my offer to buy the site. If Myrm is interested he can contact me and I'll talk money there.
 
I think 100% of the people holding a grudge against XF is people who have never seen a XF site besides TI for a day. XF can do EXACTLY the same as VB and MUCH more, infact most of the people that developed VB4 are the people that now have developed XF.... as VB5 is dog shit. Thats another hint of why this forum is still running on VB4 for example, besides from that XF has some REALLY neat addons this community could use for the better.

Funds are badly needed for securing TI's future and the move to Xenforo!


We're going to hold a fundraising event, and we'd like to motivate people to donate. We need some proper motivation for people to part with their hard earned money, and to provide that, we're looking for you to volunteer as a tribute!

We're looking for people from the community who're willing to pledge to do silly things based on things they're known for, according to amounts raised.

For example, Pizza (please volunteer!) is known for GY farming, so one goal could be "If we raise $3000, Pizza will let anyone GY farm him for a day."

Volunteers please open a suggestion thread, in which the community can provide suggestions for rewards they would like to see from you. Then it's up to you to decide what's a bit of a hardship but you're still willing to do, and set the amount of money raised you'd be willing to do them for!

It should look something like this:

Goal Amount Community Reward from X
$500 xxxxx
$1000 xxxxx
$1500 xxxxx
etc.

At the end of the event, Drugs from LSFTW will host one of his famous fireworks events and there will be a big community party for all of Twinkinfo! So people from all brackets, start preparing your party character on Bleeding Hollow US!

All the reward threads will be linked in here, and once the rewards are decided, those as well.


P.S.: Everyone on site staff including Myrm is volunteer(ed)!
We didn't actually ask Drugs or any of the others on staff yet, feel free to pressure them and Pizza into volunteering, muahaha.
