Interesting that guide authors whom are apparently respected are igniting flame wars for no reason.
Simply put, saying you do well in bgs is implied that you can hold your own versus other 24s too. Obviously if the other team is 3 24 disc priests and 7 survival hunters everyone is going to just /afk or be farmed. Doesn't mean WW monk isn't a great class. In fact, I'd say that WW monk is better than every other melee in the 20-24 bracket with the only exception maybe being a prot paladin.

I agree. I don't expect a particularly high level of maturity or tact when it comes to world of warcraft/twinking but can't people holding some kind of apparent status in the community set an example? Hint to certain members of this site that don't always oblige that sentiment. As far as best melee though i'd say they are down the ranks above fury warriors and maybe on par with enh shams. The mobility and a super cool 1 and a half minute CD just makes it a fun PuG class. Thank you for reminding me how hard prots hit with all their survivability though.. jeez. Dang hybrids and their fancy spells.
