WW monk? worth it?

title. Is the class and bracket worth it? had a few 19s, have things changed for the better or worse since the release of MOP? thanks

what bout a rogue? and how's the bracket? horde still dominate everything? pizza still leaving bg's before he loses?etc

They seem fun however very situational, most of the time i see them be detriments to the team,
same with rogues they're good but 80% of the time a rdps/healer will do more for the team
both are easy to make, id suggest rolling one for the funz

Melee dps are not viable in a bracket where the majority play some form of Hunter, Druid, or Shaman.

Out of all Melee I would say Monk is the most useful as a BM monk, Windwalker is wonderful, alot of fun to play, Tons! of mobility, if you find yourself actually being healed it can easily be one deadly class/spec to play. Otherwise if your set on playing monk I suggest trying to learn the BM monk playstyle and building yourself around that first, then going to Windwalker for fun :)

I started off as WW and I loved it, I then made the change to BM which IMO is just nuts if you can Perfect it and is alot more viable then a WW.

It doesn't appear they are not viable to me, just more of a challenge.

They are more of a challenge, but even then, there are just those games where they will be unviable due to being a fragile non-stealth melee class.

I found WW to be a lot of fun! It feels like a rogue with all of it's defensive capabilities traded for mobility.

The big issue is what Dory has already pointed out. You're basically useless in the Rdps deathball meta.

BM monk definately most useful melee, WW monk not worth it at all unless you think you're able to achieve something no one else on US has done on WW monk so far(being more useful than they could have been on a diff class or as mw or bm). and honestly feral over a rogue if you lean towards a stealth class cuz theres not enough ferals in the bracket an theyre pretty underrated, where as people will literally AFK report rogues because of how much of a disadvantage it gives you when you have a few that arent good, even sometimes when they are good lol.
