For one to obtain these gloves (level 15, item level 23) they need to farm for them on a level 19. Seeing as they are #1 BiS and #2 only obtainable by farming them (a world drop) on a level 19, I would say they are pretty rare.

Picture this. If you farm SFK on a level 120, all rare items that drop will require level 60. People that farm SFK on max level usually are doing so for transmog items, which the large majority of players don’t really give a shit if it’s level 60 or 20, as they will learn the appearance on their max level.

This also makes obtaining them via auction house fairly rare as well- because you need some random leveler (level 19) to receive them and post them.

I personally received them from SFK on my level 19. I used to do a few runs a week in search of my item level 23 gloom, which I now have.

If you would like to farm them yourself go ahead- but it would be a much better use of time to farm something else and use the gold to purchase the pair that I have.
