I honestly have no idea what this is worth, but I saw it on the AH for cheap and thought I would offer it here. Just post a bid if you are interested. If no new bids come within 48 hours, it will be sold to the highest.



Ribsplitter of Power

+22 AP is the random enchant.

And it has the standard 10 additional AP for a total of 32.



Weapon is on Fenris - US - Horde. You transfer to me.
 
Just wondering, but how much did you buy it for on the AH?



Possible best buy of all time for 49 bracket...
 
i got power, bear and monkey off the AH last week for 15g each from the same seller. Also got glowing brightwood staff for 10g from the same guy.

Didn't realize they were that cheap...Is this not the type of weapon that someone will transfer for?
 
I dunno, it may depend on the server(mines Detheroc- Horde) and how bad someone wants the item. There's a Ribsplitter of Stamina on the AH now for 400g. Its been for sale almost 2 weeks at that price. I see the Ribsplitters for sale all the time unlike the helm, chest and ring that I need for my 49 priest.
 
It just depends on who's needing it and who's looking for what. If someone's looking for a specific ribsplitter, they will pay a nice sum of gold for it. Else, people will just let it pass.
 
For an Enhance Shammy or Hunter, I would only consider [of the Eagle] and [of the Monkey] as worth transferring for. The [of Power] works for maxing out AP, but kinda falls behind the other options. Then again, I didn't see a ribsplitter on my server for like 6-7 months after starting in the 49 bracket. Even now, I only see 1 about every 1-2 months and half the time those are [of the Whale] or something just as worthless. Putting it up here is a decent idea, but I'd just post it on your own AH for a decent profit (100g should sell relatively quickly on any server).
 
What would power be good for? Enh Shamans? Because warriors would just want of Strength since it gives the same AP.

I know nothing about 49 twinks. I would assume that warriors go Arms and use 2handers. If they do go Fury, they would want strength be cause they can get the talent which increases their strength (as well as BoK increasing it if a pally is around).



I guess Of Power isn't that great. My 80 shaman stacks AP, but that is because of the talent that converts AP to spell power. You get that talent at level 50, so agility would probably serve a 49 shammy just as well as this one.



Maybe rogues will want this come 3.2? Orc rogues? Or are they all specced for daggers?
