That is right, was searching through the bags on one of my old twinks and what do you know, Pattern: Deviate Scale Belt was in there.

Yea im not entirely sure, that is part of the reason I posted this was to try and find out.

Since this item became unobtainable I have purchased and sold it a handful of times across different realms. Unfortunately this item is not a profitable as you would think from looking at the price on wowhead or something. The average price I have gotten out of them is about 800g. High being 1300g on Gnomeragan about 2 months ago and the low being 400g on Blood Furnace last month.

You can still find them occasionally very cheap. I usually buy them when I see them less than 100g for resale.

Only reason I know all of this useless information is because I store it all in SQL Server so I can query against it to determine prices in the future on the realms where I scan Auction houses.

Oh... I currently have one on Velen priced at 3550g, but it will probably not move until it gets below 1k.

I have sold one for 7k and one for 12k, still have 2 more. This item is dirt cheap to list on the AH, keep putting it up for at least 10-15k and some person will eventually snag it because they breakdown and can't resist not having it because it is unobtainable.

For some reason I never ever see the Deviate Scale Cloak recipe, only have one of these so I hang on to that one.

I see them around 1500 and on Bleeding Hollow atm 2500. so around/in between there i guess

Is the Deviate Scale Belt valuable, or is the pattern only interesting for pattern collectors?

(and is there somewhere on Twinkinfo that lists all this stuff? I have a ton of old patterns (from vanilla WoW) that I never got aroond to using. I doubt I'll get rich off any of them , but there might be one or two that are interesting).
