Thanks bro, although I just want it on a decent cloak (like firebane or the 5stam 3str cloak) so I can use on warrior. White cloak dont look good :p

I think all i have left are a spidersilk with +10 shadow and a +5 int with +10 shadow.

Why would someone buy that ring at all. Its a guaranteed drop in a specific place. Has always taken me about 30 minutes to get it.

Guaranteed drop? Stendels bane 0,2% drop for stendels bane and 8% chance for getting ring in the bane ;O I've heard one dude taking 10 hours to get a single ring.

Yeah, its guaranteed that if you spend long enough fishing in that pond you will get as many of them as you want. Unlike world drop blue BoEs, which didn't used to be particularly farmable, although they might be more so now with increased drop rate in particular treasure chests.

And the wowhead posted drop rates are WAY off imo.

These are my approx stats from counting the fish in my bags after farming 4 rings.

I caught 11 http://www.wowhead.com/item=68795 out of 1760 fish.

This is a .625% rate. Got 4 x http://www.wowhead.com/item=68797.

Overall drop rate for rings in my person experience = .227%

Average 440 fish to get a ring, @ approx. 15 secs per cast and catch.

Less than 2 hours to farm a ring, not bad. My guess is that everyone who says they can't get it to drop don't have the patience to sit and do the exact same thing for 2 hours.

I caught 11 Stendel's Bane - Item - World of Warcraft out of 1760 fish.

This is a .625% rate. Got 4 x Stendel's Wedding Band - Item - World of Warcraft.

Estimating a droprate from 11 loots can not be accurate. You could have just aswell looted 11 and got no rings and it isn't even too unlikely (friend opened 9 banes a few days ago before he got 1).

Anyways, the buyer said he hates fishing so that's why he bought it. 2,5k for (usually) a few hours of work is not that high of a price IMO. Especially when it's fishing, which is extremely fucking boring D:

I have fished up a shit ton of stendle's to fund my toons on medivh, some days I would go 4 for 8, with rings inside, and sometimes I would go 0 for 20.

RNG is RNG

Sold for 15k :)
Still looking for Greenweave bracers of stamina, +5 resistance chanted cloak and walking boots!
