They were...theres a less reliable/legitimate way to get them to scale though if you have them. I don't remember the specifics, but I think it was along the lines of if you delete the item and get it restored, then it gets mailed to you scaled. Don't do that based on what I've said - I haven't done it and don't know how to actually do it.

This is not how it is done. There is a thread in the royal lounge on this. If you have any interest in attempting this- be warned. I know multiple people who have lost their items (hundreds of thousands of gold) attempting to get these items scaled as well. But it is doable.
