WTB Ambassador Guide

Guild Master
I'm trying to get this title before moving to Ruin. I got the fact that I need to do all the starting zones, (Durotar/Razor Hill, etc), but that only got me to Honored with all Factions, I'm not even revered with anything yet! Can anyone help me out of lead me to the zones I should be questing in to get to Exalted?

You do realize this is in the 49's section right? I've only done the 2 zones (Durotar/Razor, Deathknell/Brill, etc). This only got me to Honored. What else do I do?

I do realize this is the 49 section.

Go barrens,silverpine,1k needles, muglore all that shit? Feralas is nice rep, a lot of quests gives to all factions.

gonna be hard (from what i've heard) to get ambassador as horde since silvermoon rep is really hard to get -early quests give tranquillien rep or w/e

however as alliance i'd like a short lil guide for especially gnomeregon rep. questing alone in eastern kingdoms from 1-40 nets exalted with stormwind. but ive never hit exalted with the other factions, and i'd like the mech. chicken for my dwarf/draenai the most hah.

It's gonna take more than just the starting faction areas. You'll probably need all the way up to level 30-40 quests per faction in order to get Ambassador (at least by my calculations).

high 30s at the earliest, especially for a non human. on my nonhuman toons i usually hit exalted with SW around 39-40, and thats from purely questing in the eastern kingdoms and having started in the human zone. certainlly a bit of work, but for the dedicated; go for it!

just buy a lot of runecloth, it's what I did. Cost me around 6k in gold but made that back in 2 days on my main that's a jewelcrafter/enchanter.

6k for Ambassador? I don't care if I have the gold cap on 10 chars, that's not worth it.

Can't do that at 49 unfortunately (at least I don't think you can do repeatable runecloth yet)

runecloth turn ins start @ lvl 50 (repeatable at least)

This guide was written by a 39 a little while ago: http://twinkinfo.com/forums/39-twink-guides/3005-heros-guide-ambassador-title-2.html

I have Ambassador on my 49 shammy (prior to 3.2) just from trying to get the robot chicken (Gnomer rep is the hardest ally rep to get). I added some of my own experience to the second page of the guide. I got it around the time i was 44 just by grinding every single faction rep quest I could find.

Basically run around with track low level quests on and grab anything given by a horde NPC. Your best start will be to go to every zone that has a horde "base camp" with more than 2-3 people. Basically if there's a horde repair/vendor there, then there's quests there. This takes a while, but with epic mounts now, the time should be cut significantly.

Now that 3.2 is here I'll probably be finishing up ambassador on my 39 rogue who is already exalted with IF, SW, and Darn.

I'm Horde QQ, the Alliance guide has every zone listed and I don't even know the Horde zone hubs.

Aight, since im a huge nerd I'll try to give you a bit of a walk through for where to go for which rep.

Orgrimmar Orgrimmar should be the easiest rep to get for the horde, tons of places to go, you should start like this:

Durotar (valley of trials, razor hill, sen'jin village) move to:

The Barrens (do XR, Camp T, and all the 'hidden' quests like the tauren that walks southern gold road, and the quest from the level 22 mounted alliance guys) then:

Ashenvale (most of the quests here come from the town, there is a lot of them, also remember to do the quests you get for killing the 'rare' animals in ashenvale, I think there are 4 of them? Also, don't forget to do Zorarm'Gar strand on the west coast of ashenvale) After Ashenvale head to:

Stone Talon Mountains (Remember to do the quests at the troll village near the entrance to STM, as well as all the quests for the main town) After STM, you should head to:

1k Needles There are a lot of quests spread out around here: do the main town (forget it's name) and do White something or rather village? to the north west of the main town. Don't forget the orc camp over by the Shimmering Flats, and the lone Tauren in the cave on the northern side of the cliffs (Huge test of strength chain) then:

Descolace there are two main places to quest here: do the troll village in the south west as well as the quests from the town in the middle of the zone (forgetting their names AGAIN) After descolace head to:

Dustwallow Marsh I don't believe you will gain any reputation from Mudsprocket, so your best bet is the orgre/orc town.

Feralas comes next, mainly tauren NPC's - but there are some orcs and trolls. All the quests come from the one main town, and fairly easy. Next is:

STV Lots of rep quests from the main town, there are many really dumb-long chains form there, most of which will give you Orgrimmar/troll reputation. Don't bother with BB or Nesingwary - neither of these should give you org rep

Swamp of Sorrow should be the next place to go...once again - not very many quests, but still lots of rep form the one town.

Badlands(?) blasted lands should be next - Kargath has a lot of orc npc's who will give you rep.

The Hinterlands lots of trolls here, but you get some org rep aswell

I believe this sums it up for Orgrimmar, you should be at exalted - or close enough to get it with splash form the next quests.

Sen'jin Trolls There are very few places to quest for the trolls, and most of the rep you get here will come from Orc quest sharing with trolls, but I will walk you through it if i can:

Durotar -> The Barrens -> Ashenvale Many many troll quests on the coastal town (zoramgar strand) -> Stone Talon Mountains town near the entrance has 4-5 troll quest givers -> 1k Needles basically just getting splash from here, and a bit extra from the few Orcs that are around -> Descolace there are lots of troll npc's in Shadowprey Village -> Dustwallow Marsh + Feralas + STV + Swamp of Sorrow + Badlands(?) blasted landsall of these have very few to no troll quest givers, but you will be doing them for Orgrimmar rep anyways and will still get a decent amount of rep with the trolls -> The Hinterlands Raventusk Village is a god send for trolls - many many long chains here with good rep for the trolls -> Arathi Highlands there are some troll quests here, as well as some orc quests and they are definitely worth completing. The trolls will be the second hardest rep to get, due to their lack of npc's but it should be do-able.

Thunder Bluff Thunderbluff is pretty crappy, along with the trolls. This is due to blizzard being fuck tards and converging all 3 races into one trail of zones starting with the barrens. There are some zones that are tauren-heavy, but not nearly as much as orcs. I will shorten this one, I'm sure you can figure it out:

Mulgore -> The Barrens -> Ashenvale -> Stone Talon Mountains -> 1k Needles -> Descolace -> Dustwallow Marsh -> Feralas a nice amount of tauren npc's here -> STV -> SoS -> Bad/Blasted Lands

Undercity Undercity should be the easiest to second easiest to get:

Tirisfal Glades -> Silverpine Forest -> Hillsbrad Foothills -> Arathi Highlands -> Ghostlands -> EPL/WPL if you can do any of those -> Descolace -> I believe this sums it up, I've never found UC to be hard to get, if I think of some more i'll update it.

Silvermoon City This is going the be THE HARDEST rep to get by far, very few questing places, and even fewer quest givers - it really sucks because most of Ghostlands will give you tranq rep instead of silvermoon. But here it goes:

Eversong Woods -> Ghostlands You won't get tons and tons from here, but there is still a decent amount of rep available from it...unfortunately this sums up the "quest zones" the rest of the rep will come from Splash, or the rare NPC (a couple of which I can name) -there is a blood elf in Grom'gol with a quest chain, and one in 1k Needles with a quest chain. You will get a lot of rep for these guys doing the UC/Org/TB/Trolls rep anyways, and I would probably leave these guys to the end...

Other Helpful Tips - Do quests inside the main cities. These tend to give LOTS of rep. Also do all the quest chains for instances! (RFC/BFD/WC/SM chains/RFD/RFK/Mara/ST etc etc etc) Instance quests give A LOT of reputation, with nice splash rep. If you are unsure if a quest will give you rep for a city, Wowhead it - wowhead CAN be wrong, but they are usually correct. I forget to mention a couple zones that are worth doing: such as Felwood, Azshara, Winterspring, If you stumble across an Orgrimmar quest, but you're already exalted - do it anyways for the splash! I fear that Senjin/Silvermoon are both going to rely a lot on splash rep.

Hope this helped, and sorry for the messy formation of it...just threw it together to try and help ^^
