WSG Premade H v A @ AP

I personally think it's hilarious when Kale AFK's because half the time it's after he Rambo's into the entire horde team all on his lonesome. But I don't disrespect him for it. It's his choice and it doesn't hurt the team in any major ways. I AFK out of games I'm not enjoying, regardless of score. I'd rather not play against 7 hunters, even if we're going to win. In the games where horde gets a cap and turtles, I'm not going to sit around for 20 minutes, attempting to get the team to play in an organized manner, while the horde essentially farm the idiots who run into a meat grinder 1 by 1. Let's be honest, a lot of matches in this bracket are just plain shit, and I don't blame the guy for AFKing. I would too if I didn't mind waiting 15 minutes for deserter and another 15 in a queue.
 
Ignoring all the bots posting smack for their afk owners. Trying to get a full AP battleground sounds like a great idea.

I'm really looking for players, not classes. Ofc you should take the class in consideration, but it's still the player who got the skills & gear. Even motivation for choosing a class/player above any other is important.

I rarely run into AP people. I leave many more games that don't have any from there. AP are a tiny part of the 20-24 BG experience. AP aren't awesome. They simply work together more, which is a lot more difficult to find in PuGs. Any group working together will be more effective against a group that don't. I obviously don't know who the opposition will be, and other than the time of day, have no real way to even guess who either my team, or my opponents will be. Stupid would be trying to make the people on this forum happy.



Which brings me to the reason getting an ally AP vs. horde AP match happening, especially during WSG weekend, will be so difficult. Not impossible of course, with two groups of five on each side, and Vent, if all twenty get the pop at the same time, you have a decent chance of getting into the same BG. The problem is this will probably be even more difficult during CtA. Of course if you want to play wargames, and manage to get them working, it wouldn't need to be during CtA.



I'm not sure why some people seem so obsessed with how I play games, or get so upset about how people other than me play. If you don't like it, leave. Fairly simple. I won't be changing the way I play, and I don't expect anyone else to either. I think the forum sniping and bitching could come to a stop though.

It didn't occur to me at all. However, I just like the idea how the very best of H play vs the very best of A on AP. Will the skillpatch matter? Or not? Who beats who? Will it be exciting and a close shot? Or will it be faceroll like WT against USA? Just curious

I don't think anyone really dislikes you. It's just rather funny to see you leave when getting focused after charging into a group

In times past, you used to be able to queue WSG 1, 2 etc. and you also got to queue as a raid, which made an actual premade, not just a group of five, a far more realistic prospect. Anyway, assuming you do manage to get it happening, I think it would be interesting too. Again, I assume Vent would be the best way to co-ordinate this. I did something similar once trying to get ally and horde into the same SotA so we could get that bomb diffusing achievement. We did eventually get it to work. It took several attempts because of the faction imbalance though.



I'm not concerned about people hating me, or anything like that, I have noticed a lot of factionalism though, which seems silly to me. I have no problem with AP grouping together. It's smart. I'd do the same thing if I could find a core group of people whose playstyle suited my own. As for charging in, I'm not sure that's entirely accurate, although at the start of a game if people avoid combat, I know it's not a game that I'm interested in. If people support the initial midrush, then I know it's a game I want to be in. If not, I find out soon enough and leave.
 
I can't say for sure why we're all so entertained by how you play. Maybe because you are very vocal here, so it's kind of like seeing a celebrity irl. Or maybe it's because no one can peg what kind of game you do like. All I know is that I've heard that a guild of nonmentionable lvls hate you and make a game of you afking.
 
Yeah, I managed to run into a 9/10 game with them once. I didn't stay long. I burned CDs attempting to take one out, but of course they ran away and got support before I had a chance to. I reguarly kill one or two before I leave games with them in it though. I consider that a win too.
