There are way more Hunters on Alliance side.

Horde hunters are mostly undergeared folks in greens and blues, no boas, , hitting max 1k hp.

And the alliance has always had way more hunters.Because of that, more and more hordies started rolling hunters to become more competitive. So blame your faction for the outburst in the number of hunters not the horde.

More like on Alliance side? I'm sick of seeing hunters period on either side. A buddy of mine agreed to make a 20 to pvp with me and I screamed inside when he made a hunter. I got on his case.

I haven't even gotten my hunter past level 10 because I have no interest in him anymore. He was a remake of a hunter on my paid account I was leveling that I loved so much. Geh! Just geh! May as well remove Flamingo from my toon list tbh.
