do you have to actually level to 39 w/ blizzlike xp?

There are two realms. They're sharing a battlegroup.
Lordaeron is the x1 realm, so yes you'd have to do that.
Icecrown is the x7 realm, levelling is faster there.
You basically have to donate once ($12) to play on IC because of the queue (if you donate, you can skip it).

However, due to the recent influx we're out of a lot of boes on IC.
If you're running something that relies on a critical boe (*cough* PoD), I'd recommend you to roll on Lordaeron.
We have public shared 80s on all realms and factions that you may use to speed up your levelling process, as well as enchanted white startergear.

@Selaya might roll somethin here in the next few hours. Thought that crossed my mind tho: on the 7x xp server is it harder to gear a twink? Like will i be able to complete necessary quests, run dungs etc?

no, that should all be trivial (we have rental 80s and stuff on both realms); but we're like, permanently out of boes on x7 because theres more players there and a shallower pool of boes actually (x1 = more levellers = more boes)

Oof. Good to know. Think I have the client already which is tite. Didnt think of the lack of boes you would get with 7x xp heh

Horde or ally? I'm sure you'll say either side works but is it pitched one way? Might go healer also unless there is an abundance?

it can be one sided sometimes but we usually have people swap if it gets too hectic for better games, it's what i like alot about this community

Started a character here a few days ago. Everyone is helpful and it’s really interesting to play and see how the game used to be a few years back. It’s great to have talent points you can build hybrid characters with and a lot more abilities to mess around with at low level.
