World PvP

Just wondering if anyone world pvp's? I just started doing it, killing random people in Duskwood (as horde). Anyone know any other spots?

Ppl would bring 90s to farm brazilians all day if they could, so why would they bother wpvping on 24 if they can bring 90.

Anyways.. a good spot is northern stv anywhere between rebel camp, kurzen camp, and around nesingwary area. Theres a constant flow of ppl in that area, so careful if you fight near the road or else the fight will get quite big

Back in The Burning Crusade, I used to go out to Stonetalon Mountains on my level 19 gnome warrior all by myself. Sometimes I would bring a fellow 19 guildie, or even 1-4 more. Often it was just me, and my irl friend who rolled a 19 priest to heal me. It is a big rush fighting much higher levels than you and destroying them, or barely scathing out a 1v1.

Stonetalon was a great area back then because we would run across mostly 22-30 level horde players. But every 15 minutes or so, give or take, you could run into a level 36-41 pretty easily. I guess due to the one flightpath in that area, and possibly class quests or other reasons that brought those other higher level players there.

Maybe you have to have a true love for world pvp, as I do, to get the same thrills. But for me, it was exciting and a welcome change from the same WSG matches over and over sometimes. We played alot of WSG.

Yea that type of wpvp is what I really enjoy too, its also really good advertising for twink brackets. Its a pity that flying mounts in eastern kingdoms & kalimdor pretty much destroyed good wpvp though.

Hillsbrad in tbc was my favorite by far for wpvp, but now north stv is the way to go, atleast for horde

You had to be careful back then as well, because you couldn't lock XP. I remember my friend's rogue (Ay - R.I.P.) ding'd 20 in Stormwind Keep where the onyxia event was happening because someone in our party had tagged one of the dragonkin.

And yes flying mounts did kill WPvP. So sad.

Northern STV is a great place to wpvp, lots of 25-30 alliance players running around, got into the zoning with Ravencrest, was like shooting fish a barrel

While this is 20-24 bracket making a 10 (when fully twinkled is damn near unkillable) and hitting west fall as Horde was a good time

servers linked with tich always have a lot of 20-28 horde around the argas quest area, where the fires and stuff are, but its good to have a healer(or be one)or ull get gangbanged by a group of them 99% chance and most of em are usually rogues but its world pvp nonetheless

Make sure your hit capped for "Skull" when world pvping. With that said. Its not like how it used to be either. On my 19 I was able to kill level 40s. Now it seems no matter what level your at, it's a real chore to kill things 10 levels or above. When world pvping like this and if you are not a hunter or a druid. Get the add-on Spy. It's really helpful because often a lot of times you can over look potential wpvp encounters. I also would recommend this even if you have humanoid tracker, it's an added bonus. Northern and Southern Stranglethorn Vale are good spots. Duskwood is too. For those who want to kill people 5-10 levels below them. I guess Redridge mountains would be easy enough. Ashenvale is also another spot to try but it's just so darn big. Western Plaguelands is also good too for those a little more adventureous.

Moocow
