I definitely feel like you got cheated - your casting was definitely much better than the two who placed 5th & 6th. Don't give up though, you clearly have potential and already cast at what I'd consider a professional level.
 
It's a shame we expected unbias decision making with this, though I'm not surprised that's not what we received for our respective applications. On the bright side you and I both have a point to prove at this stage of the game, and prove it we will.
 
Definitely a popularity contest. Fun fact to know is the winner casted the F2P World Championship before he casted anything in his own bracket. Dillypoo had told me he never casted before and would like to start. Now look at em. No one on that list I feel cast better than blackout. I linked the preview video with your commentary on it to several rank1 players and they said we had professional casting quality. To make things even more interesting the 2nd place commentator on the list Glinkz is the one that was interested in Casting with Blackout and hosting the NWL Stream. Glinkz also followed the NWLs page. Blackout this is just the start, got connects and Ive had several end game players pm me about the NWL hosting endgame tournaments.
 
i might be biased because im english, i cant stand american accents commentating. you should've won

no disrespect to the winner because it seemed like his mic was holding him back but he sounded like he was half asleep or nailing up the noose about to end it all

i think youre an excellent caster but some of the things that i have really picked up over the years and what i really try to focus on is the importance of tempo, building, tone, pauses, alot are intangibles, being able to pull the audience in even if they dont know anything about the game, and of course working with your co caster. look into some of the classic sportscasters, check out some books on the art of sportscasting. I havent watched the other submissions but let me check them out now.

edit, dilly obviously breaks the game down alot more with his analysis, doesnt necessarily cast well but is able to bring a lot of information effectively.

glinks is pretty whatever, his pacing is quite good though.

zzu unique style, i think yours is better
