Witching Stave?

This item dropped when I was farming SFK for the Assassin's Blade and/or Shadowfang for my rogue last night. I checked AH and there was only one up for sale w/a 299g buyout :eek: Is that totally out of line or is this item that good of a twink item?

It's worth somewhere between 50-70 gold. Since Staff of obsessed seers or whatever it's named has more spell power :)

I guess being as I am on a old server people always start really high hoping some gold rich player will just buy it to save time and then go make up the gold in about 1hr doing dailys on thier main. I have to admit I will pay more at times just to get something right away...lol
 
The average I see it on US servers for pre 3.02 is 100-150g.



As a lock, I can tell you that I still prefer it over the Blessed Seer for the 8 intellect. I think overall, its 6 one way 1/2 dozen the other. If a lock is going for glass cannon build, the seer is the best for sure though. I still use my furbolg bag and nightwatch sword mainly though and still have 171 shadow.

I've been thinking about getting 3 glass cannon mages up and then play em with multi box, what do you think about getting the Shredder dagger (5 crit rating) + Inscription offhand? the 6 spell power 6 int?

if going w/ glass cannon, why not just get Pulsating Hydra Heart [+6 spell power/+2 stam] for the time being untill you decide for sure thats the profession you want.

Well 6 spell power 6 int > 6 spell power 2 sta.



But since they're glass cannon mages I might just get the 8+ spell power offhands.

Awh. Warbay, you stole my idea I think :p

I was thinking of doing 2 more AP rogues; multiboxing them for ambushes, haha, be well time consuming and probably not worth it, one is fun enough :D

You can't multi-box melee classes. One will always be on follow so it wont be in melee range. =P
 
multi boxxing on twinks seems well difficult usually i see ppl multi box shammys because they can heal themselves and do dmg nicely @ 19 i see this as a problem if u die and stuff a lot but i guess ud be killing ppl pretty fast and hopefully wouldnt die

Play 3 mages, 2 fire mages and one frost mage, replace your fireball with frostbolt on the frost mage and you'll cast *2 fireballs + 1 frostball* which leads to insanity tbh, imagine having slow effect + 2 fire glass cannon mages sending you to the gy =P
 
welll thts insane but im more thinking like running into the opposite flag room and such where u have multiple targets but i guess u have 3 frost novas too

Yeah. I'd do that. But I would get all the gear before hand. Not paying for 3 accounts! I pay for two atm as it is :(

I do actually have a job, which imo is quite well payed, 4000 euros / month, and yes, I'm very very spoiled, so my parents pay pretty much everything I can't get for 4000 euros =P



Ahh well... w/e gotta love working for your parents :)
