We have been thrust back into the age of separated battlegrounds. However, this is not a reason to despair. Before, we did not have communities, and sites such as Twinkinfo were not mainstream. Thankfully, now we have both of these wonderful utilities to bring our bracket together and keep it alive through organized events and the casual understanding of when to queue in order to avoid outrageous waiting times for games.
Please do not give up on our bracket. I, like many others, have played 70s since it’s birth as a twink bracket, and this is far from our darkest hour. I encourage you to reminisce on Taziks/synapse/74 prot paladins etc and remember our community is durable not just because of the amount of abilities we have etc., but because we love our expansion and the friends we have made.
I will be working with the more organized Horde players to set up competitive PvP events as often as possible, and will see about making some spreadsheets to track optimal PvP hours etc to try and include late night events for those players who cannot play during traditionally busy hours.
If interested in helping to organize anything, don’t hesitate to reach out. I reply a lot more quickly in game but I’ll do my best to check this site more.
