Windows Vista Help!

Ok guys, I really need your help here so i can get back to my server

I have Windows Vista Laptop, On my other computer, and. I have to switch to broadband

(Btw can you still run a Private server off of broadband?)

Ok anyway.

When i plug the Ethentic cord or watever and it works on my dads windows 7 laptop

And when i type in the info on broadband i connect and

It wont let me connect to in connection

It gets stuck at

Connecting through Wan Miniport PPPoe

Then it brings up

Error 815



So if you could please tell me how i would be greatly ap[reciated!

Sorry Umpteenth...didn't read the post. But based on the title of the thread here's my recommendation: Get rid of Windows Vista!

Vista does suck, when i get enough money im getting windows 7 or xp.

But about 800$ in about 4 months lmao
 
800? unless you're buying a new comp you can get a new OS soon/now. windows 7 is about 120$ for the cheapest version. and you can just torrent windows xp w/ service pack two no doubt. or torrent win7....so either become a pirate or go blow some cash
 
No, Im going to get a good computer that will last awile and has good memory etc etc



EDIT: And one with probally a Webcam in it. Cuz I like to video chat with my sis

save up more than that then, an 800$ laptop will get outdated fairly quickly and you cant easily upgrade a laptop in the future. spend 1-1.5k for a laptop that will last a few years.



also, that edit just opens up a whoooole lotta things i could say. but ill leave it at that.

Really? Cause she lives 1000 miles away from me? And i havent seen her personally in about 6 years.
