Will Synapse get buffed?

Blizzard like to keep profession perks even across the board:



In WotLK Jewelcrafting gems / Enchanting ring enchants / Leatherworking bracer enchants / etc / etc were all buffed (eg 27 Agi > 34 Agi) to account for the introduction of Epic standard gems (which buffed Blacksmithing's two extra sockets)



The epic standard gems have been introduced into Cata now, making Blacksmithing's perk a 100 stat increase (for major stats anyway) yet all other profession perks are still at static 80 stat increase or an average or 80 stat increase (Synapse's 480 / cooldown = ~80 stat).



Do you think blizzard will level the board again, potentially increasing the potency of Synapse Springs?

They are going to scale down everything after cata, so i'm going to say no.

This may be wrong, but I think I read somewhere Tazik may require 500 engi to use at some point in the future? Can anyone clarify this please?



Don't want to relevel engi and get it, for it to be obsolete in a few months :s

i do not think this is true ^^ as tazik is pretty much crap at lvl 85, a 2 min cd for a 5k ish average burst

Doubtful, they are kind of just rushing to finish cata so they can bring on the pandas. Cata was almost a complete failure in a lot of aspects (pvplol). Don't think they'll take time to work on professions when people will be leveling them again soon.

What he is getting at is if they would bring all profession benefits in line with eachother with the introduction of epic gems. Currently synapse grants an average 80 of primary stat X. If it were to be brought in line with BS it should give an average of 100 of primary stat X which would translate into 600 agi for 10 sec on a 1 min CD.



Seeing as they didn't brought professions in line with eachother at the start of 4.3 in the first place, I don't think they will be adjusting anything soon.

I don't see any reason why would they do that, unless there are some huge changes made in MoP(a bit like WotLK->Cata). But if you're referring it to a Pyro-rocket/Hyperspeed change back in the WotLk then they're definitely not going to scale Synapse down. Only reason why WotLK tinkers were nerfed was because they changed it so that you could use BOTH tinker and enchant at the same time. Before you had to choose between those two.



On topic: I doubt it's gonna get buffed. This expansion is gonna end soon anyway.
