This seems like a good place to ask this: What program should I use to record footage?



I would love to make a movie too but I want to learn to use the programs myself as I simply wouldnt be happy with someone else doing it for me. Plus i get programs for free legally >.>

The simplest way to do it, well the most common way that most people seem to use.



FRAPS full version to record from wow.

Vegas and Video Dub to edit and encode it.



Guides on all of these can all be found on WCM, make sure you get the ffdshow codec pack so you have the right codecs.

I might be interested on my resto shaman. We have 5v5 arena nights in stormstrike, it would make for some good footage. Definitely some duels and 2v2s too.
