My 32 cents... from a P2P perspective.
If the OP is asking why F2P players assemble premades, I think it's various reasons. I don't F2P so I can't really say for sure, but I can imagine that it has to do with having more of a shot to win. Not only can you put together a group that has the right comp to succeed in battle, you can build a synergy with those you play with. Getting 5 F2P players together that get used to working together, add voice communications and you have a much better chance to win vs. the other team. It won't matter if it's a group of F2Ps or P2Ps, they have a better shot at winning. Also throw in the fact that 5 F2Ps grouping up together means that you have 5 less players that are either undergeared, don't play objectively, can't communicate in ENGRISH, or just bad.
That's the positive side of it, but the negative side is that you'll have more faceroll games. Having more faceroll games isn't a bad thing though... just finish the other team off in 6-8 minutes and re-queue.
The reason, as a P2P, that I normally don't queue with other 24s is that I like the idea of trying to be a difference maker in a game. You see, I look at this bracket as the Vanilla/BC 19 bracket. In that time period, you had basically 2 types of players that queued for WSG... all into the same game. You had twinks and levelers. In those games, there could be a game where a team was getting their ass kicked where the winning team had a twink or two. You could get into that game and help turn the tables. That was fun for me. Coming into a game down 0-2 and helping to rally the team to a 3-2 win. This bracket is quite similar. The 24s are the "twinks" and the F2Ps are the levelers, albeit much better geared and skilled than the levelers of the vanilla/bc 19 bracket. It's not exactly the same, but it feel similar to me.
Sure, there are games where I queue on my 21 rogue or 24 priest and I can't make 1 bit of difference to change the outcome, but there are some that I am able to help turn the table.
Since I solo queue on my P2P toons, I know how to accept losing. I realize that I can't 1v10 a team and I accept that... but it won't stop me from coming out of stealth in a group of 6 ally toons to try to return the flag. If I have to do that, it's normally because a) our team is getting dominated and nobody else can make it to the EFC or b) our team is so stupid that they don't try. Either way, I am a tryhard and will try hard no matter how bad it makes me look. I don't care about losing if I can't help us any more than I can. I try.
I also prefer not to premade with 24s that GY camp. The reason I left last summer is because I had gotten into a culture of logging in and getting group invites from other 24s as I logged in. I found myself in a ton of boring games because of this. I got bored and moved on.
Anyhow. I don't see a single thing wrong with F2Ps group queuing. I think all F2Ps should form great groups with comps to succeed.
PS. I don't know why, but I tangent and went way off coarse here. I just start typing and shit keeps coming into my head.
