Why do i never see this as a recommended option

Surprise surprise, [ITEM]Royal Dangui[/ITEM] is level 50 and [ITEM]Lesser Rune of Warding[/ITEM] requires 55...?

And yes you can enchant the Formal Dangui. In WotLK they restricted enchants to cloth/leather etc. but pre-WotLK enchants still work (like Exceptional Health) and so does the [ITEM]Greater Rune of Warding[/ITEM]

Am I the only one who finds it odd that 25 is the greatest of the 2 absorption chants?. Weird that Blizzard didn't create further absorption PERMANENT enchants. Should've had one that absorbed 100 or something so people actually could have used this chant for raiding pre-tbc. Just a thought.

Found this over at wowhead "Like most shield mechanics in the game, it's a bit buggy when you have multiple mobs hitting you at the exact same time. That is, they all -hit- you at the same speed and impacts are simultaneous. If the shield procs in such a scenario, it will absorb 25 from the attacks of all mobs attacking you.". I guess this could be a nice chant when you are FCing with 10 allies attacking you simultaneously:)

Aha, so on a [item=13895]Formal Dangui[/item] you can put both a lvl 35 enchant and a [ITEM]Greater Rune of Warding[/ITEM] but on a [ITEM]Royal Dangui[/ITEM] you can only put a lvl 35 enchant.

Will check now and then on my druid again then.

Best mitigation against rear attacks/arrows available*. If you're running flags with healing and health reliable enough to avoid being burst, it's worth it.

*For ilvl < 35. 15 def for ilvl > 34.

agreed, unless youre lvl 10 :p

no, at 10 it still sucks.

At level 1 it sucks.

Yeah they nerfed hell outta that huh? When was that done? I've been away since a bit before wotlk. Did they do it for all ratings?

its nice if you are lucky enough for it to proc more then once every 500 life !

but for me 5% is nothing, it will just never proc, for i am a very not lucky guy !
