Why are people leveling to 89?

I've noticed so many people saying that the 85 bracket is dead, because of the new BG stat scaling, and started leveling to 89.

Since when is BG's even important? these change isn't in effect in arena nor rbgs, i thought most people do arena,rbgs anyway.. by going 89.. you limited ur self to just bgs,

+ they`ll adjust this thing overtime
 
I have some free game time. How fast are 85s queues ally side?

My toon is ilvl 377, although it's pve gear. All I really want to do is get the talbuk mount for my f2p. Is that possible to do in a week?

Arena - only 2s pop, 3s/5s have to be scheduled
89- Reason people are going 89 is because of the stupid HP/MP and hit fuck ups. Most 85's stacking hit will still have 10+% chance of missing.
RBGs-No one queues it at 85 atm.

And you can do rbgs/arena at 89 btw
 
I don't think anyone said bgs are important but to some peoples' eyes,it's more fun to just be 89 apparently.
On the other hand arenas and rbgs are barely important too,on the game altogether since the low as fuck quality expansions and especially on a twink bracket.
I myself have quit the game since the patch cause of this change and I'm checking the forums once in a while in hopes that the change will get reverted,even tho we haven't seen such a change in like,ever so not much to hope for :,<

It's a pitty really cause just before the patch i geared a second 85 for war but meh...
 
It's logical that people level to 89. Twinking started in the first place because people wanted to face roll people with less gear/health/skills. I do not like 89's since I twink at level 85 and same goes for 84's, but tbh, deal with it. And the vast majority of people twink for BG's, it's quite important. On the otherhand, right now, as with lvl 84 twinks, lvl 89's have in general 0 skills and are easily owned if you're skilled yourself. And owning 89's on an 85 is much more fun because they always go into a rage.
 
I twink for fun, Bgs can still be played, and you can't face-roll people anymore that's all, people are used to globalling green geared keyboard turners, also, im on my 90 most of the time.. i only login 85 when im bored for arena, all these players going "im a glad im the best" with no 90s... and quit because of this... can use there so called "im rank 1 skill" make a 90 and get glad

FYI my 85 lock with 320k hp in bgs PvE gear can still global

STOP CRYING ;DDDDDDDDDDDDDD
 
Blizzard will fix the Hit problem and probably scaling of a lot of stats to make it more break even. As this is causing trouble for levelers aswell so blizzard will actaully do something about this.
