Deathbringer Saurfang yells: Hahahaha! Dwarves.

That aside, at level 19 their activated racial really serves no purpose.

Auctually their racial can be quite useful in casses where you need to bandage but have a pesky bleed or poison on you.

Well, that just sounds like a terribly boring idea.

Most of alliances racials seem to be defensive, as opposed to the offensive racials of the horde.

Cause the Horde is "supposed" to be the barbaric and brutal faction. And the Alliance is supposed to be sofisticated and shit. True story!

Night-elf females have the nicest effin hitboxes. Love them, also look great when backstrafing! Throwing in on Locked's earlier comment, Dwarfs are either incredibly skilled players or total scrubs, no middle ground.

thats the problem with racials, horde are more offensive, well look at the racials the twinks mostly uses, it is clear that defensive racials are the better side of racials.

you dont see people choosing orc for its dps, you dont see people choosing undead for their resistance, they choose them for their escapes abilities. that all by themselves shows how much their offensive abilities are lacking.

same with proffesion. nobody goes for engi, even though its clearly the best dps prff, yet people goes with skinning and herb or even mining. prooving that PVP is all about survival not dps.

This poll is throwing up some unexpected results, mainly the huge number of UD, i really didnt expect orcs tauren and trolls to make up less than a quarter of the horde scene.

Yeah, the most popular Races for either side have a powerful escape ability, while the second most popular (Nelf and Belf) have abilities that are easy to use both offensively and defensively.

Also... they are both elves... and have hunter class.

Holy Shit.

This post was constructive.

And was actually accurate. For the most part.

I choose Orc for DPS, I choose Troll for DPS. I chose 14 for Offense. I'm not a defensive kind of guy, but most people have it in their minds that you're going to be bursted down and that you need to react quick, so it's instinct to choose defensively.

It's simply this - if you make an overview of how much damage one would do in a BG WITH a PvP trinket racial (human) and without, there'd be significant difference for most skilled players. All skills can be translated to both survivability, and after that, damage. Dead people don't hit and often lose. =]

I don't agree completely with this. You need to find a balance in between. Having 2k health but hitting for 30 each attack isn't going to make you much use in arenas.

He's citing specifically DPS Time available by not being CC'd or Subsequently Killed as a result of a CC catching you at a crucial moment in the case of Humans.

When it comes to the cooldowns though, DPS Racial cooldowns have only slight effects, while anti-CC cooldowns like Will and Every Man scale dramatically with the improved time on target one can achieve by removing a CC or by getting out of a CC at a crucial moment, such as while a FC is getting focused on.
