Which BGroup is the new unofficial twink BGroup?

Hi there. One of the ideas going around is for twinks to xfer/reroll on one Battlegroup, so as to increase the (XP-locked) twink population on that BGroup and thus make for shorter queue times there (at the expense of queue times everywhere else).



If it goes that way, which BGroup is becoming the new "official unofficial 'XP-locked Twink' Battlegroup"?

Ruin is by far the most active battlegroup for 19s and from what I hear, 49s as well. (Not quite sure about the other brackets.

i understand that ruin is the place to be for 19s and 49s, but i doubt they're as active as reckoning, cyclone, and nightfall for 39s, and reckoning for 29s.



so basically what i'm saying is each bracket does have (a) specific battlegroup(s), but they're not all the same one.

This answered all that this thread was asking. ( Assuming this person was asking for 19s since he posted it in the 19 forum)

I'm starting to think I will be making the move to Ruin soon, Just gotta figure out which server. Probably one of the ones with an Inactive twink guild. I love playing on my twinks and it's fun to group with a few people, but they are still just alts and I can't commit to any of the serious guilds.



Gonna cost me $125 to do this (4 twinks plus one level 80 alt for future BoA purposes), so I am kind of waiting to see if Blizz does anything to help with the process. I'd be happy if they just allowed a flat $50 fee to transfer as many toons as you want in one transaction. That would take a bit of the sting out of it.

edit: by the way, Trollbane has a few non-active twink guilds hordeside, and i was personally thinking about trying to get my guild active again, if you're interested.

Ruin is very active at 39s for those interested in 19s but have 39s they want to play here as well. 29s are not active at all, but there is a lot of history when it comes to the 29s. At one point we used to have the best 29 guild in the US here. =/

Meh I have my 19s like everywhere, including Ruin. But yeah Ruin's #1 now,... but that's not saying too much when you look at the other bgs.

If you want a 29s try looking at the blog post on the front page, it has some stats on active 29s, not incredibly accurate, but should give you a decent idea of which one to choose. (might be bloodlust)

in battlegroups with a lot of players of course there will be crappy ones...



either you're going to have numbers, or a dense amount of skill...or neither. this is true for both twink guilds and twink battlegroups.
