where have all the 101s gone ?

i wanted to lololol .. but the amount of gold i dump into these few 101s too much .. they will stay at 101 forever i guess .. havent had time to work on my 110, saw a lot of 265 gears selling on AH now .. i guess the average ilvl of a 110 should be around ilvl280 by now .. the non-twinks should be about 220 ? that only gives a 60 ilvl gap difference between a twink and non twink .. i know there are players with ilvl350 .. but those will be removed once reported .. compare this with the current 101, which can now get up to ilvl210-226max, with the usual 130-150 ilvl players .. thats also 60+ lvl gap

Thats only gold. A lot of guys who I played with spend a lot of gold and leveled up.
Average ilvl of 110's is ~ 260/270 max and levelers are around 200-210. Thats a gap between 60-70 ilvl plus the most important 3x Azerit gear with Perks. So they are way more overpowered in PvP than 101's.
But I think 101s are fine aswell (didnt played any of my other 101 since bfa released)

How many BoE pieces do you have on ilvl 224 yet? I assume they are rare as ilvl 890+ items in legion. I played one battleground as 101 with my shaman in bfa prepatch. Had ilvl 881 compared to levelers who had like ilvl 725 (legion ilvl not bfa, since i dont know the exactly ilvl now) and it was awful. The huge gap felt like i were losing power and levelers stayed the same as before.

i have 1 toon reaching 210 .. others about 190-200 .. still gearing up .. 6 101s to complete

why mixed gear? You lose so much mainstat and secondary stats wont help that much.

I look at my 101 with Nostalgia but if you want a twink in the higher brackets it’s got to be 110. No server transfers to get the high pieces, probably better queues, access to BFA content, bigger community, Azerite traits, neck to improve. I know your on a quest Merlin but it’s only you and Docfil I know who are working on 101-109.

the lost is 5% to primary stats .. but the stamina and secondary stats for these enhanced boes outweighs that 5%, i think we get about 50% more health than normal players .. and theres the new 2H mace that can go up to 224 too, before in legion, this 2H mace is junk, cos artif weapon has heaps of abilities, but now they are gone, so this 2H mace's stats is formidable .. a player here got the 219 .. i havent seen the 224 yet .. but hopefully it will appear somewhere soon

yes you need to do realm transfer to buy the gears .. i been keeping track of the ilvl265s for lvl110 which is not your standard 3 pc + necklace .. i seen most 110 still using under 265 for wrist gloves pants etc .. these you need to cross over realms AH to buy them

i think you ref to dungeon .. in bg, even with the same high end boe gear you dont feel that kind of OPness like you do with a dungeon boss .. 101 are know to normal players as OP for dungeon, but in bg/arena, the OPness is not felt that much .. right now, it is huge with this increase in gears

pretty sure 101 is the same as 109 in PvP all gear the same, and its easier to gear 109.
Also all available specs, unless they allow more than 1 at 101 now.
And just plain more to do. Period.
edit- that said, it looks like they took away the weekly quests for 110. Kinda lame.
two legendaries for PvE, two leggo stat slots for PvP, ilvl 300 azerite gear and weekly antorus runs for other upgrades, and all those azerite traits that work in bgs? No comparison.
