I think the problem right now is that people don't bother queuing because they don't really think it will work. At least that's whats going on for me - I cannot bother dropping random dungeon queue just to wait in line for an unavailable BG. But if people just queued, I guess it would work. Atm I'm hoping we will start seeing pops, because I know for sure there are more than enough 29'ers in the whole of EU. We just have to get it rolling! Queue every night you can, preferably with with multiple characters, and eventually 29 will be there again =)

The point is we tried that already. We had more than 20 chars on IRC, hopefully all queued up and still no pop. Not to mention there'll have been some others in. So I actually do think it's bugged for some reason. What I don't understand is, WHY that is. All others are working fine...

Yes, but how long ago was it that we had 20 ppl at the same time? It was at least not since last patch, I am 99% sure of that. It can have been fixed already - but we don't know, because we never have more than half the people required for a pop..

Yeah, except queues are bugged across all the other brackets too. I've tried queueing (in the US, on my 49) for XP-off games from Bloodlust when I KNOW games are going on in Ruin (all the 49's moved there), and I still get "average wait time: unavailable" and no pops for 26+ minutes (at which point I give up)

This is the core issue. I moved my 49 back to Bloodlust three weeks ago, and got an XP-off pop last week, but wasn't able to get into one after that. So the capability is there, but not consistent enough for people to want to spend too much time trying to make things work.

i don't really know who to believe:
- blizzard who says the BGs are merged
- twinks claiming they are queing
i get good Q's in 15-19 bracket and 70-74 bracket, i get nothing in 29's and 39's in US. some will snap to say oh most are focusing on leveling to 85, but that is false since the problem has been around way prior to yesterday's release of CATA.
reckoning server was supposed to have a huge 29 pop, just like ruin servers had a huge 19 pop due to mass migrations. sooo, honestly.......did reckoning have:
- viable and "regular" BGs in 29 bracket?
- before 4.01?
- before 4.03?
if the answer is yes to all the above...........imo, then the issue still is with blizzard ganking this and maybe other brackets by having them on disreguard and not merged within the programming.
i never went to reckoning with my four 29's....yeap 4, still have one 29, i leveled 3 of them to 70 in wotlk because action was always there. if other players did along the same lines of just leveling to higher twink brackets or just going to 80........i suspect the 29 population may not be as big as we think it is to support the bracket. when XP off was implemented there was intense imbalance in 29 bracket (hunters) and the game dwindled to nothing on ruin battlegroup
