What's something about you that might impress others?

i am an actuary and my traveling speed (from passing first exam to getting fellow) is top 15% amongst all US/Canada fellows despite the fact that i slacked off quite a bit with those exams (like any WoW or hearthstone player would)

not nearly as impressive as a professor, a doctor, a lawyer, a full time investor, or just a random silicon valley IT guy making 250k, but it's something.

In a pretty old game called Dark Messiah of Might and Magic Multiplayer, I won the last 1v1 tournament for each and every class in the game (Warrior, Assassin, Archer, Mage, Priestess). I was also a member of the number 1 clan in the game. When Ubisoft killed off the main servers, some community servers popped up. I would empty an entire server in 15-20 minutes.

I also made heavy hitters have a run for their money in a Dublin King Of The Hill weekly invite matches in Mortal Kombat X. I was a random nobody with 200hrs played and not much prior FGC experience outside of playing MK9 casually.

After a while in MKX I fought some Irish guy on the ladder (who was running the KOTH I mentioned) and he randomly invited me. The players consisted of the Dublin locals regulars. It included players like Praying Mantis, Solid Snake, Fergus (although he was mainly Tekken player) etc.

I made a lot of upsets happen in those invite KOTHs, and eventually got to fight quite a few of the top players in the MKX PC community (Playstation was bigger, but I don't have a Playstation).

I eventually received LAN invites for various tournaments in EU, but never ended up going. Had my life not taken the twist and turns that ended up happening around those moments, then I could have probably seen myself going at one point or another.

MKX was just one of those rare games / moments where everything just clicked for me. If anyone has had a similar experience (games, sports, whatever), then you'll know exactly what I mean.

Outside of games, I've built various production sites and applications used by small, mid-sized and big companies (can't give too much info on this without mega doxing).

I finished 2nd highest in my university for computer science, but it's not really as impressive as doing it in more academically competitive environments. Fx. prestigious universities, high applicant amount and whatnot. In Denmark education is free, and computer science isn't an overly popular study, unfortunately. As long as you have passing grades from high school, math equivalent to B level or higher, then you're more or less guaranteed a spot. Simply because the amount of applicants per year is pretty low overall (for that specific study).

I can also do weird stuff with my tongue (shapes, moves, motions etc.) if that counts for something. Neat party trick stuff. :FrogeConcern:

Did you also play heroes of might and magic 3?

My feat is making every text I write into a "terms and conditions" text. You'll react to it / accept it for what it is, but you'll never really read it.
This is the true winning an argument on Xpoff tech

I was raised a vegetarian and kept that choice as an adult, until a few years ago I went to a restaurant and had a $50 steak that turned my conception of meat upside down. Fast forward to now, and I can fry up a restaurant-quality steak.
