EU+US What to roll @ 59?

Hello,

I'm looking to make a 59 twink on the Horde side.
I'm not sure on which realm I should start, any guilds out there with some 59's? (on EU)

Also I'm unsure what class to make, any suggestions?
I'm not so sure what is most viable but I would prefer something like: Frost mage, Spriest & Disc, Elemental shammy as caster or Rogue/Enh as melee?

Not too sure if 59 is still a thing. People usually just go 60 at that point. I haven't seen any 59's around.

I would imagine strong classes would still be something like,

-Surv hunter
-Disc priest
-Aff/Destro warlock
-Arms Warrior
-Death Knight
-Balance Druid

As for fun classes, I personally enjoy those with a lot of buttons and possibilities to make flashy plays. Those could be classes like bal/resto druid, rogue, mm/bm hunter, mage.

w/e class you have the blue quality pvp gear unlocked for =D. It can be transmogged at 59.

as for gear, clothies have the advantage, able to hit ilvl 93-94, gnomes can prolly hit 100ish. I play frostmage and it is a blast if you know how to kite and cc. priests are good, rogues are somewhat squishy, ww monks are rly good. dks are shit at 59 since they pretty much have no spells at this lvl.
as for activity, it is no different then any other bracket, I usually have to sit 15-20 mins in que.

I would use wands if I were you. You get shit ton of extra stats with wands. They do count as 2h in 1h slot.
Even with ilvl 1 wand you would probably get more stats than with normal weapon.

this is my only 59 so far. Maining balance atm, but also got shadowcraft set for wpvp/duels,pve etc.

should also add that http://www.wowhead.com/spell=17632/alchemist-stone is obtainable and bis for none-gnome characters, getting mine the next TBC timewalker event

Thanks all for the replies. I went for priest, probably shadow but when we premade I can surely be the healer npz
